[Scope is using an old one for this posting. Frankly, is it my problem that he blogs with something older than the artic ocean? But while the pile of raw photos are readied for processing, Scope is absolutely too sianz for editing recently. Actually, this one is only barely 2 years old. So it's still quite new.]

The history for a blog stems from the ancient need of freedom for every personal junks’ contribution to this ugly world, where afterall… one man’s junk may be another’s treasure.

Nowadays, this world is flooded with critters… and beautiful hookers.

Yesterday, I drove to Geylang a few hours before my date at 10:30pm with a pretty girl. Finally, I got to see the rows of standing hookers and I tried to walk with the dirty and smelly crowd. An uncle shouted at me that looking at the girls needed to pay… And this pimp must be crazy. I laughed, and ignored him. The girls would suddenly switch to the other side of the street… because two cops were behind me. I was laughing… Those cops would not catch them. There must be at least a few hundreds of beautiful hookers at the night; Without a proper planned directive, those cops were obviously just doing patrols.

And then, I passed a hotel with a series of pretty loud groans heard from obviously a foreigner being banged…

Thrilling.

A prostitute was mumbling, ‘So many men, but no one takes me…’. And a chinese voice came from the crowd, ‘Why don’t you lower price?’ It was true there were many men, and this hooker was really pretty… but I thought she was not really smart. There was one hooker who was smart. She obviously knew what men like. This hooker dressed very decently, wore a pair of glasses looking like a uni grad. She was pretty, but the simple outfit and the way she presented herself showed she understood men’s desire. And as soon as she was there, a couple of men approached her, and she was taken off as the rest of the girls just stood there without business…

Hookers are cheap women, but hookers who pretend to be higher class stood out from the rest. And men generally prefer those decent looking pretty hookers than those who are exposing too much, or those who appear too high class but standing in a crowd of consumers whose budgets can’t afford.

I would have stayed to observe Geylang longer if I suddenly did not feel the need to bombard the toilet… Where the other parts of Singapore was dying, the night of Geylang was more crowded than Orchard Road in prosperity.

Some of the girls were extremely pretty. If they have worked in decent industries, maybe they would have met someone decent and rich and be married off. In this cultural desert, what good is marriage when pretty girls are in rows waiting for your fucking selection?

Well… Nowadays, desperate guys go to Geylang for sex, or they go to http://scopettg.wordpress.com/the-love-doctor/ for romance.

Beautiful or ugly… critters are making waves in Singapore. Ain’t you feeling dizzy, Mr Singapore?

[Scope is getting lazier because he just got the video editing software... and it's pretty much an hassle to import raw pics to the production terminal for editing. So here's one. The lady on the other side of the table is hidden.]

December Romance: I Am Missing Snow White.

Scope landed in this blog http://laozhabor.blogspot.com/2008/12/jokes.html and yeah, it is an old auntie’s blog… to be exact, she was a calefare with Mediacorpse. Think I saw her before when I was at TCS back then. I just laughed… I mean, she is really on the ballz with her ’show business’. Other than bursting into laughter… what do you expect of Scope?

That’s the Singapore entertainment industry.

Oh, Lao Zha Bor~ OMG!

I seriously admire her fighting spirit. But seriously, just fighting spirit alone is pretty pointless.

It is now December. In spite of my reluctance to miss this winter, to miss walking again in the lovely nights at Tian Yi Square… I afraid my parents are more important.  Mum is coughing pretty regularly nowadays, and I am not happy to hear those coughs. Despise my frustrations with their ignorance… they are still my parents. And when they are not around, I’d like to stay overseas… perhaps only then can I have a family of my own, throwing snowballs and walking the fields like those westerners.

And no more irresponsible and ridiculous naggings.

I never really have seen snows… not in Zhejiang, Beijing or Shanghai… The winter in Shanghai years back was pure beauty, and that of Ningbo was just serene and very very beautiful as well… Shanghai was buzzing with life. Mainlanders, unlike Singaporeans, are highly sociable, they laugh and talk and loudly so and in groups… It was very cold in winter… but I felt warmth in my heart. It is not cold in Singapore, but I feel the chill in this decaying society. And worse, nobody is really doing anything about this but seemingly perpetuating it.

It is getting too ugly for comfort.

It is such a small country, and such humongous ugliness… senselessness, and blindness. It is virtually impossible to reason with many Singaporeans. I can see the hunger for money money money in all corners of Singapore. And… I suddenly remember this name: TT Durai. He must be enjoying this Christmas somewhere with his fat S$22,000 a month income when thousands and probably more are starving in Singapore, digging the grounds for peanuts… Why doesn’t somebody go help this apu ne ‘to become jobless and reach what new pinnacles‘?

I still find it ridiculous that such things actually happened and are happening in Singapore when our government is blessed with talented and honest people with doctorates better than Preston’s. Honest people do come with honest mistakes, but honestly…

Can they honestly do anything about all those nosenses?

It appears that the winter is going to be exceptionally colder for Singapore in the years to come. Spring is obviously over… perhaps over to Taiwan. At least Chen Shui Bian may end up eating shit for the rest of his life, and that starts a new page of possibilities for the ailing island. When will our rascals be joining Chen?

Winter is romantic to Scope. It has great sentimental values in fond memories…

Snow White is waiting for me… somewhere out there. I must find her asap…

[Christmas is coming, and 2008 is ending. Scope's wish is very simple... for world peace. LOL~ But most importantly, he wants a better world so that he can be a better man. To all my loved ones... Merry X'mas, and I love you all. I am keeping this one simple as white is.]

The Bishop who shakes hands with Lucifer knows hell better than the followers who believe having faith in the Bishop brings them closer to Heaven.

Absolutely empty on what to blog about now, especially when Scope just returns from swimming. Alright, it was actually just bathing in a larger bathtub with your underwears on for hours… So, what is the fucking news this time? No news is good news… this may apply anywhere else but blogging.

Blogging*~

Why not let Scope shows me how to bang balls into poles as those JC youngsters do nowadays**? I am sure many poles would have to be expended in such a manner. That’s called playing hard balls… And somebodies are attacking Alvinology for being attention-seeking and such, aka flamings on him.

No flame must die is it?

Ragged or rugged my foot~

Go ahead, and show everyone in cyberspace the fantastic Singaporean flamings for all I care. Damn~ The abalone… I can still feel it undigested yet~ Really feel like vomitting whenever I think of this sick society. Can somebody do something about it, and please pass me a bowl of birdnest…

The one thing I don’t agree with that Alvinology is what blog in open cyberspace is meant for all… Yeah right~ Now let Scope states the obvious and golden rule of this blog in cyberspace that this blog shall stay out of newspapers, tomorrow.sg and any other media and such without a Scope-ian consent. And Scope doesn’t accept any fucking interviews unless it’s from people he knows and those are all foreigners. Anyone can still apply as you can apply to Singapore police for permit to riot and for demonstrations and to march into parliament house… Alvinology’s belief stays in his blog, not Scope’s.

Applications can be made in http://scopeland.forumotion.com

Where was I…?

Uh~ Don’t know what the fuck to fuck on… Let me just anyohow rant rant a bit. And do drill this into your skulls that no blogger is here to make everyone happy, so Scope as well. You’ve ever seen any politician making everyone happy? Tell me one and you can kiss my ass. Don’t tell me Obama, because I am not happy with him because he has yet come and left this blog a presidential comment… So somebody please make some noises at the White House, during Congress, at his toilet breaks or what I don’t care, but make Scope a happy chap by leaving a ‘Scope blog is the best thing next to White House’ comment. In return, I’d like to invite all those troopers Obama is sending back to USA from Iraq to visit my puny blog.

Next election… Michael Jackson for President! He’s the perfect choice being a black and a white all at the same time.

This joke is so cold that I feel like peeing on Chen Shui Bian***…

[I just love the feel of this. What do you think...?]
[Jesseca's WordPress Chap As Well] It’s about time to start a new post, then I found out that Jesseca Liu has a blog with WordPress as well. And this is her latest entry http://jessecaliu.wordpress.com/2008/11/13/%e5%8d%81%e4%b8%80%e6%a5%bc/ , and there were these fucking cute kittens… Well~ Kittens.

About Jesseca, Scope used to spell her name as Jessica. And he was the one who started her thread at a Mediacock forum which was actually subsequently ’robbed’ by the fucking moderator. Hence, I stopped presenting her at Sohu. She and Priscilia Chan are two he sees potential in making it big, and of course, once he presented her back then in the Sohu blog, the Chinese did asked Scope about Jesseca. Now, I wonder that even if they would like to bring her to China’s market back then****… would she have left Mediacock and… could she handle? I did not present Priscilia Chan… because the ‘thread robbery’ was pretty upsetting, illustrating such despicable qualities, and I had no mood to promote anything that came close to Mediacorpse.

As it is, when it comes to Singaporean exposures, be it that notorious EDMW forum or those Ping.sg weirdos or that Mediacock forum, it must be bad, bad and very bad. And after so long at Sohu blogging and having it contrasting Singapore’s online situation… Singapore sphere sucks big time. In spite that Priscilia is now more around on screens, but she is married. If you know China’s entertainment industry… It’s very difficult for Chan to fly married. So Jesseca is the remaining hope. But her rumored relationship with a Taiwanese bla bla bla won’t do her good in this, and maybe she is intending to stay in Mediacorpse for good. Who knows?

No matter, if she’d follow auntie Zoe Tay’s footstep and be her proud tiny queen in the well, it’d be just a waste in the end.

Her blog needs more publicity… here’s a little help then. She’s probably the slowest star in blogging I come across so far and she is at around 60,000 hits (ONLY?!), but that’s only because Scope mainly followed Northern sphere instead of Singapore’s, and nowadays… I am losing interest with the Northern sphere as well. Mine is no celebrity blog but one with only a 300~400 average daily hits, but at her infant stage, that blog would need as much exposures as possible even from tiny entities as mine. She should have set up her blog in Sohu instead.
daily-hits[A healthy dose of small hits count for a small blog in cyberspace. Scope likes it serene and steady.]
Reason is pretty simple, WordPress is not accessible from China unless it’s WordPress.cn. Now why is a mega-star-to-be to have wanted herself stucked outside the red hot China market? That’s strategically puzzling to Scope… Actually, the reason why Scope had started Scope’s blog at Sohu was because it would be out of the radar of those in the southern well. For her, shouldn’t she be prefering a larger exposure instead?

But the choice at WordPress will be marvelous because this team is well-known to be sensible and stick to the honorable principles of freedom of speech and such. The quality of the team is just remarkable. The only problem is no matter how high the hits may be, you can’t have adsense for the matter without paying WordPress. Scope has been with this host for quite some time and that’s the conclusion, till now.

[A Ping Pong Into Entertainment] Reading from the newspaper also yields Li Jia Wei (You watched Olympics Ping Pong?) going into this industry in China. Right direction but wrong move… She was a Ping Pong player with some friends in this industry. But she doesn’t have what it got to stay in this circle. Why? Firstly, Li is not exceptionally pretty, and she should not be naive to expect permanent works coming to her without facing huge competition from stars who see themselves much more qualified or properly ‘educated’ and are willing to offer more than a smile. Unless she gains connection with any right people… but even so, how far does she herself expect to go?

China’s entertainment industry is really ridiculously huge… but there is always a catch somewhere. Without proper insertion, Li would for one rise to find pressures from societies of not the usual types, or remaining low and crawling among the many new and prettier rising competitions.

But it’s really a good industry to make good money, especially if you suck ping pongs better than Bobo… Waliao~ Can’t wait for Edison’s new AV productions! He even got voted what most sexy by don’t-know-who. Sexy or not, who knows? But he’s definitely the king of AV.

* Blogging means different things to different people, what do you think of blogging here? Scope prefers to put it as ‘junk food’. If you want super credible stuffs, go after the newspapers~ A junk a day, keeps boredom at bay.

** Check out http://alvinology.wordpress.com/2008/11/13/acjc-girl-gets-tied-up-and-tortured-by-friends-celebrating-her-birthday/#comments . Go ahead and bang balls and such, and we should have the principal dumped into shit tank on her birthday as well. You tell me MOE allowed stripping in schools as well? OMG~

*** Finally, this corrupted ex-president of Taiwan is sent into jail. Is this the start of a new Taiwan?

**** Obviously, if there were interests she’d have a market in China. But then was then now is now. The market condition in China has been changing by much since.

***** Gong Li made waves when she becomes a Singaporean citizen. Our MP Lee was probably so honored by this star who: 1. won’t be based in Singapore, 2. a well-known clueless communist party member mocked by mainlanders for her poor quality party work, 3. is 43 years old and amplifies Singapore’s long-term slacks in this industry, 4. shows aspiring Singaporeans the local condition of working environment. Welcome to Singapore, but… you can still find her in China as she claims to be basing herself there instead of Singapore for work. And there are more newcomers, and why is MP Lee so special to Gong Li in this equal society? OMG!

evil-world[Many are celebrating corrupted ex-president Chen Shui Bian's migration into the jail, and Scope is not about to miss it lah~ So here comes his participation with his CGP. Below is Tomoya Nagase, a performer Scope finds rather good and he was involved in two drama series which are rated by Scope as good and excellent. 'My Boss My Hero' is remarkably well done! It's so good that you are seeing Tomoya here... All the way, Tomoya!]

You rely on the cats who are one big family with the mice to work, Garfield and Mickey Mouse offer you the fantasy world of Disneyland.

Heartening news, and celebrated in many forms in Taiwan and outside… the corrupted smart alec Chen Shui Bian who held the top office for two consecutive terms and makan-ed money by the millions is now busted by the new Taiwanese president Ma Ying Jiu (马英九). This is particularly explosive in an era where many are resorting to corrupted means to become successful, shamelessly hailing such as accepted norms and even entering politics to lead!

We salute to the new Taiwanese president for this glorious event, and wish that he himself prefers food against money for meals. Fuck Chen Shui Bian! Fuck the corrupted assholes! Fuck injustice!

Is Taiwan the new hope, the new paradise to be? If President Ma continues to do a good job clearing up the social decays, you can bet many are already preparing to move to Taiwan.

Scope sends his best regards.

This entire posting is hence dedicated to the heroes who have brought justice a bit closer to this decaying world. Now Taiwan’s next job is to recover all those loots Chen Shui Bian’s family has hidden. How the fuck can a civil servant have millions and millions of money stashed away after just 2 terms?

Chen Shui Bian and his cronies are definitely going down the Chinese history stinking as shit…

You governed like a sorry crap, and you took that much…

Salute again, to the great people who has busted these corrupted craps and busting more assholes to come.

Luckily, this happens in Taiwan, since Scope doubts Chen will be released with a $22,000 job waiting for this fucker. Chen Shui Bian now refuses to eat. I mean, after having eaten so much money, of course food for mankind becomes tasteless. Taiwan should feed him with gold coins… You see, gold is stable element. After he makan-ed a gold coin, he passes the coin out, and the coin can be fed to him again…

Chen Shui Bian, he could have gone down history gloriously… He was the one who had been given a chance by the people to defeat the incumbent KMT which was no lesser corrupted, dirty and arrogant. And he has chosen to be a shameless asshole.

Hopefully with the fall of Chen Shui Bian and his cronies, the sun can shine once again in Taiwan, bringing it a new era of happiness and prosperity under the new leadership of President Ma.

Best wishes from Scope.

‘You look at your pet termites and find them healthier today, you should expect your house to shake tomorrow.’

While the CGPs are under creation in the other room, it’s time to start blogging again. According to old records online, it seems that a large scandal with our old ERC (Entrepreneur Resource Center) has blown off at the start of September 2008, now is because it made hundreds paid for junk degrees for something like $18,000 a piece! And it was to the credit of Straits Times again, and Straits Times put up quite an encouraging and determined fight against the subsequent threats.

Well done.

This is the institute boasting to create entrepreneurs in Singapore… and create leaders under the nose of our enlightened government.

Now Scope heard that some are intending to have a class action suit. If it is based on misrepresentation and negligence on ERC’s part, I suppose it would be pretty easy. But most importantly, Straits Times have made ERC’s issues public. When ERC has its online ‘branch’ in China, I was almost immediately brought to awareness of its Shenzhen presence. How can anyone expect such happenings in Southern China to go unnoticed with Scope.

Singapore aims to be what education hub, it’s a saddening affair. If the people really go ahead and start a class action suit, then this will become an official NKF II as I have been expecting. This is also when massive investors of dubious minibonds are suggested to take class action suit against the financial sector based on misrepresentation. As Scope has already explained the legal basis of this, that a contract cannnot be based on immoral terms nor of criminal nature or offences such as misrepresentation.

But Scope’s main attention is not really his $1680 and the apology, but it is the MOE’s reaction to this case*.

From the earlier report, come 2009 there shalt be actions by the government to clean up this sector, and CASE should have a varied role. For all those which had happened, would ERC be even affected?

Here is a link I found: http://www.littlespeck.com/content/education/CTrendsEdu-080910.htm I have also found many updates online about outcries against Andy Ong, and yes… we even have full details of him down to his NRIC online!** It seems that the hunt for the ‘arrogant’ Andy Ong has started online.

Straits Times has done the public a big service, now what about the government? Let’s sit back and observe.

Anyway, I have immediately emailed old man to congratulate him that he is not another Lehman minibonds victim. Maybe that was emailed too early***… I am glad I am an early whistle-blower, and one who have blown the horn even louder after the threat came from Andy Ong. But this… also signals an era where a society is crippling and the destructions are getting widespread. I consider myself just an accidental hero, but I am still proud of myself to have blown the whistle.

I know I am a good guy.

And I know I is enough.

[Internet Research: Ping.sg-- Done.] I am very interested in the behavior modes of southern netizens and not only the real world ugliness in this cultural desert, and AIMS has listed Ping.sg as one of the prominent study area when it started its governmental assignment on internet regulation. There are two major parts in this: Southern netizens & Global netizens. Frankly speaking, internet is not just one framework alone, and is an important aspect of globalization. There is, however, no need to research on China’s internet environment because it is artificially decided by the few, and there is no way you can do any meaningful test when it is up to will and fancy.

Actually, my established blog at Sohu serves as a very important subject for comparison purposes, making it super easy to outline characteristics of the observed****. Using China’s Sohu Scope blog with a nominal base of 100 points based on cultural establishment, we can assign a pretty accurate comparison ratio. What is sociology? This is sociology. And it is also about site policy which reflects a broad society in the real world. Ping.sg will also have a site management policy-inclination. And that is for studying the IQ values as a result. Balloons were released to test the various aspects and observed. Lastly, reactions were drawn and computed.

Thrilling.

The most thrilling part is AIMS has included Ping.sg as prominent when the base ‘community’ (as self-described) is only less than a hundred… Numbered to be around 50, of which only about 10 are most active. This is the strength of Ping.sg, a prominent subject of AIMS (?). The regular viewership is estimated as far below 2000 on a day to day basis of 2 intervals. A farcry from the high usage level of internet hailed by Singapore. Which is on average, a boarded posting’s average maximum hits count is only a small 300~400. This may not even be half of Mocca! The main crowd includ teenagers and younger adults. Which explains the maturity level displayed discounting the educational impact.

If AIMS uses Ping.sg as a policy guide on blogosphere… Scope wonders if it is even appropriate. While indeed there were pretty disturbing issues, but does one exhaust the water of Raffles river just to drown a small box of rats?

But the southern observation does yield one important aspect that I have omitted at the beginning when I tried fishing with ‘Obama’. I need the right ‘tool’. Obviously, Stumbleupon may not be handy enough, since I… don’t know how to use it. But I have found a lead… and it’s Raincoaster’s blog. Her blog might lead me to find something useful after all.

[It's always a pity that talents are leaving Singapore. Scope is one of the exodus. No choice. Rascals are crowding out the island, and talents enjoy huge market overseas. Why not? It all has to do with a cultural desert. The fighting abroad is intense, but talents do have their market. the fighting in Singapore is also intense... but it's just mostly petty fights on petty things. Visit http://stomp.com.sg and see for yourself. Guys sat with legs open and people also complained on such things... Hilarious~ A small island with petty mindsets is pretty scary.]

Overseas Filming Of A Success Story.

With so much talents, the most critical ingredient of success is the environment. Next year, I shall make plans to start productions outside, and that would hopefully be based on an official employment status with an overseas company gained during the stay*****.

Scope is not an unrealistic idealist who assumes that success comes once filming is finished. Basically, the self-grooming takes time, and settling down overseas also takes time. Looking for a career to gain the papers also takes time. And I hope to accomplish all these without relying on bro and group as far as possible.

Point is something always get in the way, and you’d need to circumvent. It’s very hard to plan things in Singapore because something like this in-camp and other Singaporean tiny issues will come. Southern China has pros and cons, Europe also has its advantages but it’s a new unfamiliar place. Nonetheless, searching for success has to be done overseas. You are not expecting good talented Singaporeans to be working under pests in such a condition, right?

[Fortune Telling: Believe It or Not] It’s pretty incredible, but here’s the story. When I was a kid, my parents were told they have three deities at home.  My young sister is blessed with ‘人’ (social), my younger brother is blessed with ‘运’ (luck), and me… that’s a secret. For me,  I started out lacking elements which is… I lacked both what my siblings are blessed with. And I shalt be surrounded by ‘小人’ (lowly cultured imps: small people). One can say, I know this thing called ’small people’ from very young.

Accordingly, deities blessed with mortal advantages belong to the ‘underworld’, while I lacked elements and I could see and hear ghosts… from the spiritual world… a world that spirits are not ready for hell and float around you and me day in day out. I could see my grandma’s soul visiting me just three days before she departed. I was not afraid, as a kid… I found this ability thrilling. But this would not last accordingly because there is a reason why I am borned into an environment filled with ’small people’. If one lacks any particular element, he or she will wear gold watch to ‘fill’ the gold element. A balance of elements will mean smooth life, easier to succeed in this mortal world. For me, ironically speaking… ’small people’ are my ‘gold watches’.

One can say, I am sucking their elements to fulfill mine from young, and the more I sucked, the more I’d lose such abilities. My parents used to have me told them what to buy for 4D and they made money when I closed my eyes, I could see the blur numbers when I concentrated. But now I can’t; no matter how hard I focus, I can’t see anything… I can’t see a shadow. I am sucking elements in… and after the ERC happening, I went to China to start picking money from streets, and I scored 9/10 strikes in gambling. That’s amazing.

Obviously, I have hit upon a huge cache of elements, or luck that I could suck… This is my fortune. I was dumped into this environment to start heavy sucking of elements from ’small people’ I hate to survive. I hate ’small people’ but I need their elements. Ironical.

[Filming is an interest, and looking for sponsors is a must-do in this industry. I take this like an hobby, since it is really an hobby. Project S will succeed since money is not the chief problem. That's healthy dose of optimism since this is merely an hobby. Can't imagine if I depend on filming for a living. LOL~ I am leaving Singapore next year to scout for opportunities, and settle outside. [You Only Live Once] I don’t really believe all those bullshits in fortune telling before I met Cathy. The fortune tellers Mum visited were very accurate, but I only started paying attention when I miraculously encountered the beautiful girl as was timed by the fortune tellers. I have tried hard to change certain fate in vain, but… I knew that I can have a control of my fate more or less by bumping into other element caches… And those foods are all around me. I can change things depending on how I engage this world.

How do I know that? I knew that through the whispers of a ghost…

Many mortals are walking caches of elements in their destined courses of life. Sometimes, you accidentally die before you run out of course. The accounting is very simple in fact. It’s very hard to extent your time in this mortal world, but it is very easy to shorten it. The tough part is fate, because fate is the one thing in fortune which is the equilibrium of life. It’s like a network… When 100 hundreds later, you will have son which will affect many in the network, now you shall meet the father of the son and produce this input to the network. This is fate, and this is why it is very difficult to change fate, unless… you can change the elements of another so drastically, that this son however will still be produced, but via another ‘fate’.

And this near godly intervention… which is condemned upon unless you have a very strong… something to justify. Because by affecting the outcome, you are denying the couple in this example the ‘credit’ of producing someone important in this lifetime. That will decide their afterlife, and even reborn status.

Indeed, you only live once because the lifeforce (or soul) that is installed into the cells that gives everyone a body and life, and fate, and an identity in this world has only one body. A body is a form of energy condensed with the DNA limits provided by your parents. You cannot change how you look, how your organs shall fail, but fate will still be the same. Every soul must choose at every turn of fate, and when he or she dies, and the body rot into energy in the intestines of decomposers, your soul will be released again.

Spirits themselves are also within the wheels of fate. The elements will decide how the path to fate will be.

When a person dies, it is permanent. You will either go to hell, or you will be floating around this world… depending on the choices in fate when you are alive. Your body only registers your physical contacts, if you are able to extent the biological aspects fate will still challenge you. Which is to say, yes… you can extent or shorten life in such understanding.

[Life Is Hard; Why Not Change The Game] Don’t ever demand ghosts to help you strike toto… the price to pay will always be larger than their help. Ghosts float around in this world will also have needs of a varied kind from living souls, asking them for help, you must trade… and you always make losses. Very few in mortal life will help you without asking for favors, hence how many would volunteer when they are floating ethernally? Stupid humans.

Certain things do drive ghosts away; many of those tailsmans are simply ‘ghost languages’ or reminders in the form of feels, or faith of the author. They are only detered by elements as they themselves are elements. It’s not that they are afraid of daylight, but too many men will mean alot of element caches which’d crowd them out.

Hence, how you decide will change your elements discreetly. If you ask ghosts for favors, this is one example. If you are evil, it doesn’t mean you will die earlier, but of course you will go to hell, because no matter how much elements you bless yourself upon, those elements you garner will only stay in mortal world, that when you die, you’d find yourself out of them and you are still in the wheel of fate. Your deeds will have an impact. So smartalec evil-doers always go to hell.

In a way, deeds transform your elements, and decide how you shall proceed into the next choice. Which is at times, you can say men are just puppets of fate in their own choices.

[Breaking Free Of Fate] Many things in life are fated; the life generated into pigs, or souls reinjected into cells that become pigs that yourself shall eat in turn is a cycle and fated. If you don’t kill the pigs, they shall remain as pigs, but if you kill them, most will return as pigs as well… It is very hard for souls in animal forms to perform deeds, hence they have to ‘evolve’ by dying and dying and reborn eventually into something that allows themselves the chances to float into heaven. Which is, you can duplicate two similar bodies, but there will always be two different souls. You can’t create souls. You can only trap them, at the expense of others’ elements. They leave their functioning bodies especially when the ’machines’ are breaking down for too long, floating around and be reinjected.

If you want to break free of fate, hence you’d need huge doses of elements change. No matter if you are evil or not, mortal elements can change your life but hilariously speaking… You’d need a planet of, say, gold to fill a small proportion of gold element, and it’s not yours to stay. The one typical thing that can change fate is to move to another place. Every place has different composition of elements, and either is suitable or curses different persons. You can say, deities are souls with extremely huge amount of elements who cannot come to mortal world as mortal, lest they remove a huge amount of elements… and regain them via deeds and such.

Breaking free of fate is via deeds, and via fortune. Which is, again, hilariously speaking, always about going imbalance or difficulty to maintain balance. Assuming I hit upon ’small people’, I do good at the same time and probably gain an element in wood, but I suck a cache which is also overloaded with wood… That’d make my life imbalanced and need to adjust to many sudden happenings. This is one thing that cannot be controlled because even if I know the birthdates, I cannot determine how much elements I could have absorbed from others. And once I returned from China, an imbalance immediately occurs again. But it’s a choice I have made to return. But numberous imbalances can eventually reach a generally stable state when I have sucked in a huge cache of elements for myself because no matter how unpredictable will be the absorption per se, it’d will tend to insignificance as in differentiation… The effect of ‘dizziness’ will fade more and more, which will make my life easier.

Of course, interactions now can be made easier with advanced IT development. It’s a synergy between me and the other.

[Life] Moral of the story, life is in your hand… as mine is in my hand. While I cannot see spirits now, but I can still feel their presence around. I know they are around. Ghosts don’t interfere in mortal businesses usually till they are provoked, or there is something attracting them. Most of the modern souls are destined for hell, a void a spirit must sink through and emerge to be injected into mortality again and again till they can have a choice again. Every deed helps to evolve their existence.

Do not ask for forgiveness when to sin or not is not others’ choices. They have their choices to make, and their fate to deal with. Heaven only opens for a few marked for it. The rest shalt go to hell when their bodies expire. Love is also an element, something mankind is not aware of. Love can change fate in either directions. Love can change a lot of things. But only real love can combat fate, because ultimately speaking… you cannot take the gold watch, but love generated when one is alive will be an asset that cannot be robbed when your soul is released. You cannot cheat love. You either have it, or not.

Very often, love is the key that tends to decide if you shall drift meaninglessly in the mortal world waiting for hell or otherwise. A ghost once lamented… he was lost, because he had lost himself when he was alive, and he couldn’t feel his way to heaven nor hell… He and others could feel me, I carried the warmth in my soul that attracted them from miles away.

I think being a drifting ghost should be pretty cold…

When I was a teenager, I looked at the KFC drumsticks… Every bit I felt like want to vomit when I recalled that I could be eating another man or woman reborned. For a few years, I had to come to terms with myself that if I don’t take the proteins, they would decompose anyway.

I still remember my grandma that night… she was like trying to say something to me… but if I didn’t get to see her after she passed away, I know she is not a drifter. I hope she goes to heaven… but deep down, I knew… heaven only opens the door to highly ‘classified’ souls, and very often one has to be reborned several times to gain that status; Unless one is a sucker of elements. But only deities borned into mortal forms can suck their way back, punishing the evil world along the way.

I knew she was destined to depart soon that night I saw her, but I was still sad when I saw her cold body resting in the living room. Perhaps her love for her kins would be so pure and unstained as a good woman when she was alive would allow her to feel her way to heaven. You can’t be marked for heaven if you don’t have real love burning in your soul… no matter how powerful your elements would have become.

I hope she made it.******

[The Lady At HDB And Encounters] I could sense her from afar when I was younger and enjoyed my night walking during those days… I love the moon and stars, even till now. The pale shade of a long hair lady… a hair so pale in color as I moved towards her in my sense, and saw her just at a distance. She ignored me… and walked into the wall… disappeared. Since I have seen grandma’s soul, I roughly know what to expect of a shade. She must have been around for at least a few years, new… and lost. You could tell by her clearer outline because older drifters would be more bo-chap in their forms, sometimes even in blur shapes… loitering aimlessly at night among HDB blocks. And it’s tiresome to see them in daylight.

Amazingly, many thought ghosts are ’scare’ of holy grounds such as churches. Truth is, many spirits haunt churches because of the atmosphere there. Holy grounds exist in the same rules as elements, that unless a monk or bishop is a powerful cache of real elements and their faith is as powerful as an average shade, it’s not considered holy. But you can try writing a tailsman, or ghost reminder to appeal they behave. But as there are lesser and lesser holy people in this world who can really affect them, who will bother? And they choose their haunts as their meaningless drifts bring them to. Old drifters, I called them shades because  most of them don’t like human appearances when no matter how, they ain’t human anymore… and they are reminded again and again of hell to come.

Old spirits are experienced drifters. Some ghosts however, for some reasons, may end up going to heaven. This one I can’t disclose why. But they are the very unique lot, and it is still due to what they are when they are alive.

You cannot really exocise ghosts. What many are doing, especially when the exocist is not holy, are merely making ghosts excited… the exocist is provoking the ghosts… and as such… you know. But generally speaking, after their excitment, most would still stick to their meaningless drift and try not to bother the living. Whether they are ready for hell is mostly decided by their own dealings with fate.

If ghosts do disturb you, you may have provoked their attention while you are a rascal yourself. There is no need to be surprised if you see a shade walking into walls or vanishing just in front of you; it just mean that your elements are down in certain compartment, or in certain cases, you are about to die. Most won’t bother about you.

If you ever encounter World War II Jap invaders’ spirits in Singapore, I’d be very surprised. Many inhuman soldiers fell quickly into hell*******, some victims who shouldn’t have died would have expired as well. So how can anyone see them, unless those drifters are special cases?

Many people are paranoid with death, spirits, gods and such. But the truth is, the one whom one should be paranoid is himself or herself. There is an old saying: You can only cheat yourself. Even fortune tellers can only roughly sense your path as your self would be, and calculate them accordingly from their mortal learning. If you go around behaving like a ghost, why are you praying so hard?

You might as well go and die…

Every life is a story. Don’t be afraid of living, the story can be very beautiful.

So, still afraid of the dark?

[Scope is not afraid of the dark, especially of ghosts. The only things to be wary of are those living critters in the shades. Seen and heard ghosts like youngsters go McDonald's and having sighted UFO at least once in his puny life, Scope is aware of the worlds beyond this world. He knows people are going to hell, he's very angry of their choices... Why are they coming to this mortal world only to choose hell when it is so easy to embrace heaven? I love the sunset... It's so romantic. It's hence why the man in Scope finds ugliness in Singapore thrilling... Pretty morbid but... how can there be beauty when there is no ugly?]

*In my honest view, I suppose those people shouldn’t be too optimistic. Yes, it’s exposed! Yes, Singapore matters and Singaporeans’ interests are government’s… No matter how much noises made online, can the government take on ERC will be another issue. That will, of course, be a good chance to observe Minister Ng.

**I am pretty sceptical on how one could have disclosed so much personal details about Andy Ong and not have been removed by an official forum. Strange.

***Interestingly, this escalated scandal has reached new heights with many cheated by the branching out of many varied trading courses conducted as a result… This scandal is so huge as the cheats in reference are continuing their operations under the nose of the clean and effective government. Why did Scope need to pay so much and worked so hard for his BSc when it is so easy to get doctorates from fraudsters whom the talented government can’t deal with? Illogical…

****It is not that Northern cyberspace doesn’t have pests, but due to their culture in dealing with differences and interaction, the chinese setup at http://scopettg.blog.sohu.com becomes a good base to assess southern cyberspace where pests and nosenses are dominating due to the cultural desert. It makes southern havoc no excuses over their display of ugliness.

*****In consideration to the situation in the southern sphere, once the equipment are ready, I am using the lull prior to in-camp to get familiar with the softwares and camera. The acting crew can be more easily obtained in rural areas of China… Even Zhang Ziyi was discovered from a village. If things are smooth, the whole crew can set up office in China and subsequently Europe. Hong Kong will be a good base to link up to Youtube, this blog and so on. If not, foreign contacts can do the trick.

******If I am not wrong, grandma was not the first soul I saw to have visited me before departing, and definitely not the last… I couldn’t remember who because it was a relative when I was so young whom I only came to know later when I visited the departing ceremony. Fate is a huge ball, you either roll with it or you are blessed to roll it. It is very difficult to be marked for heaven; many in this modern world praying to Buddha are already themselves marked for hell. Thrilling… Without enlightenment, all those souls hug and console among themselves in the tiny temples and expect the grace of heaven to embrace them, when they can only be heading for hell. I don’t understand… But maybe that’s just human. The sight of a drifter is different from souls who look at the world with their eyes as they share the same dimension with the living, a drifter expressed that he could only feel… a world so dark and empty. It explains why sightings have that shades walked into walls… to them, it makes no difference, unless they can feel the wall. Most often, it is the living souls on the walls that help them feel there is something there, since living souls have elements. But while they can sense elements, they can’t ’see’ elements. They are deprived of nearly all neuron senses but the instinct of a drifting soul.

*******As man chooses, his soul ‘evolves’, and will be ‘marked’ in a way of understanding for hell or heaven. Actually the use of the word ‘choose’ is not really appropriate when all souls are in their wheels of fate with a ‘destined’ course where generally, their choices will lead them to hell if they are destined in this wheel of fate to be ‘choosing’ into the path of hell. There is obviously a world beyond world, just as what happened to the world within the cells of your body is unknown to you as food molecules or condensed energies are changed within those cell worlds, that huge blackholes are forced within and inter-galactic forces are happening in your microscopic cells… where every second of your life maybe a lightyear within the cell world. This whole universe may be just an engineered environment for a larger and more sophisticated world unknown to mankind. Hell… and heaven…The only thing we now know is souls do exist, and many are waiting to go to hell.

[Scope is an hopeless romantic... And he would probably be. Once a while, he'd feel the world. Anyway, the coming pics are all photos taken at the coast of Singapore. Neptune loves the seas.]

‘Thou shalt maintain controls of what justified the maintanance…’

The internet acess has been down for a few days reportedly due to router’s issue, Scope suspects malicious attempts instead*. But since there is really nothing much to hide on this terminal, he is not too worried about it, but if it is a crime, it’s still a crime to meddle with the router or to jam the signals. Point is, we paid ISPs to surf online, not just to receive and send signals.

If it is indeed a crime, then this has to be dumped to the police.

That shows that the best security is to be prepared to be transparent, and that you must hence be first reasonble to yourself. Scope did nothing wrong, he’s not afraid. Even USA politician (Palin) has her email account hacked into… Pests, this is one issue we all have to confront online or in this society. There are pests who are dim-witted, perhaps highly skilled, yet never properly raised by their parents going around showcasing themselves as failures of society by giving hell a reason to receive them while they are using their skills to harm others instead of doing good.

[Toast to toasted Chen Shui Bian the big corrupted rascal and to those rascals not toasted yet online or offline. All those nosenses in the southern sphere don't really affect Scope's taste for good food. Food is probably the only thing Scope enjoys in this cultural desert... but it is getting expensive, especially when it tastes better and cheaper out there. Online ugliness always thrills Scope; if you watch clowns, won't you laugh?]
[Romance Of Ping.sg] Such is the current state of the society, and it is not different when Scope observes the ’society’ at Ping.sg. Now during the lull due to this terminal being down, Scope still did his emails and browsed and observed the internet, and even posted a fresh posting in WordPress on the incident. Life goes on. And during which, he saw more flammings among bloggers at Ping.sg shoutbox.

Uzyn seems to be the owner of Ping.sg, and it is very obvious that in order to maintain traffic to his site, he has to entertain the pressure of such flamming and demands from all sorts of netizens. It is like a government under pressure from the mobs making all sorts of demands and accusations… Scope doesn’t bother about unreasonable demands and complains, or even ridiculous comments. As regulars know very well, even bird brains can observe the disturbing southern uniqueness in flamming by the simple way of making comparison of the two blogs of Scope. Scope is not Uzyn, he doesn’t entertain childish nosenses. If anyone wants to make a point, he or she is always welcomed to. If anyone is here just to be troublemakers or pests…

Scope only entertains reasonableness, not noises.

If Scope (or Uzyn) backs off and gives in to any sorts of demands due to pressure, he is only in for bigger troubles as things will get out of control with even more messier flammings and demands from all corners; this is equivalent to promoting chaos. Scope is not Jean, he won’t be upset by the comments of cyber pests…

Whatever, pretty thrilling to see the ugliness.

By the way, these terminals are not only acessed by Scope.

[Put it this way, without culture as the basis, there is no such thing as right or wrong, and with indifference to judgement, there can be no justice, and where there is no justice, the society can go down the drain but there is no hero in this endless blind fight... or competition. If Scope lives another 1000 years, the last mankind could be witnessed slaughtering his other last counterpart... Which aliens won't exterminate human race, hence?]

Do Opinions Matter: All Matters Are Solid Energy.

There have been plenty of issues recently to blog about, like it or not, so here’s my take per crap:

[The Milky Way To Scandals] It’s very quick for Singaporeans to blame China for not doing diligent checks on its products, but interestingly… Singapore is smaller and tighter in control and also that the officers are paid better than in China, and how long was it before Singapore itself discovered this scandal?

As long as China… and as long as many other states. So what is the point of attacking China? Not that I am siding with China, but it is obvious that it is a shared failure. Almost everyone is sleeping. And the point is, the first major alarm was banged loud in China, not by the food inspection units around the world. Which means, if China doesn’t blow up, we might be still sucking Oreos and M&Ms and all those milk products from China people are so scared of now… all with the food inspectors taking their fat pays, go work, knock off and such…

Should we not thank China instead for making our agencies more productive, and that we can choose to stop taking in more and more poison while paying the officers more and more with such awareness?

The main point is, that scambag company was reported as trying to cover up the scandal… and it was not something known only for one or two days that the public was taking in poison… Nobody seems to be bothered about business ethics nowadays, and before Singaporeans blame China again, do they think Singaporean companies are really so bothered about business ethics?

And do they know that one of the big milk players in Shi Jia Zhuang (A China town where the milk scandals blow) may includ Singaporeans? Nope, most won’t even know. But the milk products from there are now so fearsome to the public, and are condemned upon. How irrational~

I was joking with an auntie at NTUC that the people are so crazy over this scandal whereby even my favorite Nabisco biscuits were removed from shelves for a single poisonous content… that people are willing to pay such high taxes to buy sticks of cigarettes containing tons of poisons which are not as possible to be removed as kidney stones. And these are the same people in this world making all the noises about one lone melamine.

Strange world, but thrilling… real thrilling.

This world doesn’t make a fucking sense, and they don’t seem to mind the senseless sense-making.

I myself drank that Mong Cow milk in Beijing, and the milk was not cheap. Even the fishballs were fishy… But come to think of it, if I were to drink Mong Cow milk or take M&M in Singapore during the period, what’s the fucking difference?

[The Meltdown Of Wallstreet Ice-cream] If we were to condemn China for Sanlu’s trashy business ethics which happened in recent years, more people would have condemned the financial industrial players and their related kakis (Singlish: associates, friends, bla bla bla). The banking sectors have been taking their customers for rides and for granted for much longer than Sanlu.

It’s not only an issue in Hong Kong, but many Singaporeans are also the victims of influencial pests under the honorable care of our talented government. Risk-aversed but greedy and ignorant aunties go to the local banks and cases of them misled or misrepresented into signing up for risky ‘investment products’ are nothing unusual. The only thing that has been unusual is this happens even longer and in larger scale than Mr Durai and Ming Yi’s fucking of Singapore. And the local verdict for this has been a very simple: Caveat Emptor.

Hence, those donors to NKF and Ren Ci should be happy. At least SPH fucked Durai and gang, and the fake monk is going to court for all those abuses.

While Sanlu kills the babies, many financial rogues are killing the families and going scotts free.

Soon, I’d be selling people magic stones to the same ignorant aunties in streets telling people: Caveat Emptor.

Now those papers are becoming worthless, and that probably explains why ignorant uncles and aunties enjoy magic shows and buy magic stones… Patients with atrial flutter can choose to pray to Ren Ci Temple, or buy magic stones from Scope. There won’t be conflict of interests between selling magic stones and those investment waste papers to the uncles and aunties, after all: Caveat Emptor.

Many of those papers could be sold for $5000 a unit, my magic stones are more cheaper. Why lose $20,000 when you can buy a magic stone made of diamond for $1000 from Scope? Nowadays, if I don’t sell magic stones to people with atrial flutter, I’d be jobless and unsuccessful as compared to the talents taking in millions as salaries for running AIG to the grounds.

Consumers are idiots… right?

They are just so green-eyes to us who become successful selling magic stones to the public in Singapore. Losers… They just don’t understand how we are helping to contribute to Singapore’s growth and future, although sometimes I don’t understand myself as well; But Klaus Regling the EU senior advisor may offer some enlightenment to me later with some senior advice.

It’s my view lah, this is indeed caveat emptor. I am not asking anyone to buy my views. Scope is too stupid to offer any views worth the penny, just buy my magic stones. Any orders?

This world now is glaringly strange, isn’t it?

Maybe Uncle Scope is getting too old… catch no ballz.

[Stephen Chow, Again?] It is very interesting, another Stephen Chow blog…? This is the Nth Stephen Chow blogs that have landed in Scope’s Sohu Blog. From the way it looks, it is probably the creation of somebody working in Stephen Chow’s company. Well, there is nothing really much to be bothered about fake blogs. If it happens in Ping.sg, maybe it might provoke tons of flammings, but people as Scope can’t be really bothered.

It’s fun to observe the blog, nonetheless.

Whether it is really Stephen Chow or not… Hmm… Maybe I should also join in the fun~

Creating a fake Stephen Chow blog for Scope is chicken feat. Using graphical editing, you can create all sorts of fake Stephen Chow photos to convince the people that that is indeed Stephen Chow’s blog. Acting Scope or acting another actor is about the same, anyway.

Anyway, it seems that that blogger is bending on taking the fun to a new height. Interesting.

[The Blur Preachers] Now if anyone is to show up at Scope’s doors to preach about how great is their organisation and to show me the bible, please please please… Scope is very open to bright ideas, but make sure you are what you are preaching. Don’t come to preach of enlightenment when you are not half as enlightened. Scope respects people’s religions, but the problem is that many chaps don’t respect themselves especially in the face of their own religions.

Actually, it’s pretty humorous.

Stand in the light before you preach the light. Strange, didn’t the folks realise that they themselves were the ‘media’ , and that there was nothing less humble to be in the limelight. Walking the estates and exposing themselves while sharing their faith to millions of households were already putting themselves in the limelight, and what was the big difference in blogging or joining Project S?

Do not preach of what you do not understand. It’s thrilling, but it is wasting everybody’s time.

The irony here is pretty easy to understand, isn’t it?

Art thee to plea doors to open when thou doors shalt be closed.

I waved the duo goodbye, smiling… Till they understand, may they then return.

[Scope decides to dedicate this CGP to curse that corrupted Taiwanese Chen Shui Bian... Fuck~ He entered politics and siphoned off so much money when Taiwanese folks are stuck in economic slumps, jobless and selling backsides! Shame shame shame! If Taiwanese court is so incompetent to condemn him, maybe we'd need some divine help...]

Japanese Attraction: My Sassy Girl And Hell Girl.

My recent purchases included two Japanese drama series from Johore. Of course, I bought the original. One of which is ‘My Sassy Girl’ and if it can make it to Scope’s blog, it shows that the show has standard. There is another drama series I got from China: ‘Hell Girl’ (English: Jigoku Shojo). The only issue of getting shows from overseas is that those DVDs seldom come with ‘extra contents’.

[The Girl Next Door] The main casts of ‘My Sassy Girl’ are the old Kusanagi Tsuyoshi who acted as Nakata S in ‘Love With Superstar’, and a Tanaka Rena. Yeah, another touching story presented with pretty high standard performance by that Tsuyoshi. Apparently, the former singer is getting better in acting, and the skill of performing is like never seen before.

However, the pace of ‘My Sassy Girl’ slacks in comparison to ‘Love With Superstar’ in that especially towards the latter part of the whole series, there are more ‘chances’ to press fast forward to skip certain parts. The family members of Sappuro were also too vague in the show to the point that whether the daughter exists or not doesn’t really matter, and the supporting casts at the university also are not as strong as those Sanmaru’s in ‘Love With Superstar’.

But ‘My Sassy Girl’ is more romantic than ‘Love With Superstar’ in that the way the story moves and was shot at the latter part is impressive. It is pretty obvious that care has been taken to protray a beautiful love scene with equally beautiful atmosphere. In terms of heart-warming, ‘My Sassy Girl’ ends up scoring better than ‘Love With Superstar’. But in terms of ‘viewer-bility’, the flow with ‘Love With Superstar’ is better.

Rena’s performance is considered pretty average; point is, she settles into the role pretty ok, but there is obvious rigidity in her performance that pushes her into over-acting.

The story is good, but the problem comes with Minami’s story with Natsu Meh. Basically, this part could be way too fast to be squeezed into this short series. The way that Minami fell for Natsu Meh is too fast, and the way their story ends is too fast as well… Or the better word to describe it is ‘too abrupt’. Minami is supposed to be at the university for only 3 months, and when she was disappointed that she might not be with Sappuro, in less than a few weeks since she reached the uni she declared her love for Natsu… and she knew pretty well she’d be in the uni for only 3 months! It’s reasonable for her story to be wanting to be with Sappuro since they knew each other since childhood. ‘My Sassy Girl’ stresses too much on Minami and Sappuro’s past and on that basis, the story makes a reserved girl in Minami shifts too fast in her love stance.

And for the rest of the story, Minami is like a thone in the story… It might be as well better to remove Minami and Natsu Meh from the storyline after Rena and Tsuyoshi got together. Their roles do nothing but disrupt the main storyline.

Almost forgot… This sassy girl also makes me fall in love with Canon, the music.

[You are suggested to click this image... Anyway, it turns out that Enma Ai is on holiday, so Scope takes over her to send Chen Shui Bian to hell... OMG~ How can any politician eat so much money in such stupid fashion and still hoping to wiggle out using party politics... Taiwan lawless meh? Aiyah~]
[あだな 閻魔愛] ‘Hell Girl’ on the other hand is a much weaker show but if so, that doesn’t justify ignoring this drama series because while the stories in ‘Hell Girl’ may not be as strong, but the story on the whole is more or less original, and pretty unusual. Unusual stories require pretty careful way of performing to introduce strange concepts to the audience. ‘Hell Girl’ has a major market in that it has its origin rooted in comics, and comic books readers would already know the style and concepts of ‘Hell Girl’. But to people as Scope whose first contact with ‘Hell Girl’ is by watching the DVD, I must say… the reason for covering ‘Hell Girl’ after an entire year since returning to Singapore is that the starting episode fails to be strong enough to retain interest when I browsed it a year back then.

To Scope, that episode would be equivalent to a preview; And the preview obviously doesn’t make a good enough introduction.

But after one continues into the rest of the episodes, it is pretty easy to get sucked into ‘Hell Girl’ because of the style in ‘Hell Girl’ that is pretty attractive, and the story is indeed original. The thrill comes when Jigoku Shojo recites: Ippen, shinde miru… (Japanese: ‘Why not go and die~’ Or ‘Why not have death once… and for all…’)

Enma Ai is probably the coolest lass I have come across recently.

Ippen…

Shinde miru… …

Obviously, the main weapon of ‘Hell Girl’ is the idolizing of Enma Ai. The name Enma Ai is closely related to Enma Ou (In chinese: 阎罗王, A king of hell in Buddhism). The cartoon version explains actually the background of Enma Ai and the real person version has the story very much edited from that of the cartoon’s. And this strategy works very well indeed since Hell Girl herself is supposedly a very cool and mysterious design.

Well, fashion… ie.

Once you know Enma Ai, you’d be addicted to ‘Hell Girl’ no matter if the cartoon version was boring for most of the time.

Why would an idea such as Enma Ai be so hot…? I suppose her stylish lines already explain.

The artist who has come out with this is addressing directly an audience in a society where people see the world as hell which is hopefully: One for the good, one for the bad. And no one really thinks heaven is so much more better… It’s either a better hell or a lousier hell. Enma Ai’s job is to mainly send pests fatefully to the lousier hell. And all the customers who don’t know hell subconciously pull the red string  and reserve a place for themselves in hell… Which is, they really have chosen to judge this world as not much worse than the hell they fear…

When people fear heaven as much as they fear hell, they will get rid of heaven. This is why Enma Ai has her business… And this why ‘Hell Girl’ has its market in this world.

As much as our love for ‘My Sassy Girl’, the reality that love doesn’t really exist in general in this society is complemented by ‘Hell Girl’. Death… may be just a beginning. As the corrupted financial sector crumbles, maybe that is giving the world a chance to embrace love…

And Enma Ai will lose some market share to love.

But I doubt she will be fuming.

In Buddhism… there is something called 无为 (Philosophy: Idling**)…

There are obvious ’sightings’ going on, and I have bombarded the ISP for a proper technician to come down for documentary sake for the subsequent filing of police report. But now, a young chap is in my house fixing up the connection for us. We have confirmed a suspicious asshole in the network which shouldn’t be. ** One of the highest orders of thinking that targets the real peace of souls to handle the reality of chaos. It is sharply contrasting to the snobs’ way of approach towards the community. The simplest explanation is to liken it to 独孤九剑 (A type of super powerful swordplay in an imaginative legend written by a chap called Jin Yong). The swordplay is powerful because it fights indirectly and gains power when one is in losing situations, willing to idle when there is no opportunity to attack, and the attack doubles up in increased power when the opportunities come. 无为 is a state of mind that belittles not others yet belittles not yourself, and much like Taichi (In Chinese 太极), moves in chaos with chaos with a steady point: The self. Where in Buddhism, everything comes to an end, everything starts for an end, and the world is actually ‘empty’, I called that straight and forward: Anti Matter.

[The greatest songs and stories are probably about Men and Women, the wars or romance never lasted a lifetime but lasted forever into history. Scope sees this world as a home... so huge but flooded with insanity, and love drowns. Welcome to Scope's room.]

The best way to sink a ship is to load it relentlessly with tons of gold that if the pirates don’t help sinking it, such great folly would.

Mack sat there, as his head lowered seemingly with a smile, I was smiling as well… Just that he won’t notice. I had decided to call him out after he knew I have returned from his mum and had invited me to Johore for a movie. I just love to pump him with all the nosense… a thrill to see how he reacted.

Still the same old Mack… Never changed, saved that it’d probably be a long time since we’d meet again. I have this… perculiar habit of sniffing at ‘friends’. Always thrilling.

No matter, Mack’s world is not the same as mine. He’s very contented climbing the ladders in Singapore, much to my inability to appreciate that; While I am very contented in moving out further, and eventually… there won’t be a Scope in Singapore. But I sure hope that he can be the friend I expect of a friend. But this is the cultural desert…

I am seemingly asking too much from my peers in Singapore.

It’s the same with Chok Soon and Cindy. ICA has granted Cindy citizenship, and my congrats to her.

It’s always thrilling to observe my peers who are typical Singaporeans. Chok Soon has links to Malaysians and certain dignitaries with shrewd Cindy around, while Mack virtually rolls in the society and becomes street smart, and all are climbing the ladders as their personal goals.

Typing… I thought of Siping. Her boyfriend probably led her astray alongside with her naughty self in school, and I felt so glad when she met me a few years back telling me that she was in poly instead of working, saying she was back on the right path. She knew I was concerned about her, nagging at her when we were at school; and I met her a few years later since, she was already a manageress. But we weren’t that close anymore. But I was still very happy for her.

These are friends in Singapore. Lost and found, but never really yours. Which is in accordance to this: 君子之交淡如水. It means friendship is relationship which is plain and easy as water. In Chinese, real friends consist of people of great virtues in relationship, and such are hardly found in Singapore… the cultural desert. Such friends are called 伯乐 in Chinese, which means very good pals who can form lasting relationship based on virtues; and one is very lucky to get one in a lifetime.

Mack asked a pretty stupid question: What did you do in China?

Surprised if he expected me to answer him. What I can reveal was already blogged. The rest is strictly confidential, maximum security, and even my trips were heavily guarded.

August is about to end, and I should be in Beijing by now has it not being for the Olympics, and my parents have some health problems. The fortune teller had suggested that because I have this 龙气 (???), it is best that every year I visit the praying grounds of the emperors for once. But I am so tied up in Singapore playing filial that I couldn’t even make it for the family gathering in China a few months back, not to say to celebrate Hillary’s birthday and to meet up with a few contacts.

I looked at Cat, I know she has been flipping through my things, through my notes and so on. I never made an alarm on her, I just observed her… quietly. The Singaporean fortune teller warned me about trusting a woman, I may not know if she refered to who… so many women, but that silly Singaporean didn’t seem to realise that I don’t trust anyone, not to say women or a woman. I love them all, but that doesn’t mean I can find them reliable.

By now, I know the so called fated school mate in my life so refered to by the fortune tellers must have been Kate. Not to say Chok Soon said she’s married, even if she is not… hardly possible as well. I need someone mature, and got the calibre to hang around with me, and someone intelligent enough to talk to. Much for my decades of crush on her, I know very well she’s not that steady type. I’d have to spend more time and energy to protect her than she’s going to make my life easier out there.

After being filial, I expect more time outside Singapore. After all, Project S must go on somehow; And all the fundings are parking outside Singapore for alot of things to be done.

Some people complained that I have disappeared from MSN. Sorry, folks. But ever since I formatted the disks, I have found other leisure than MSN. I have grown rather tired with MSN, and with women. The only thing that interests me is romance, or the pleasure of love.

Yesterday, I met Gopal’s sisters, again. I met them only recently on the MRT train, and again at Seiyu. Such a small world is Singapore. One of the twins is looking for a job in Singapore. All the best to her! Nice girl, she should try her luck outside Singapore. It is a huge world out there. But yeah, it’s pretty havoc out there as well.

[Rather than wasting too much time at COMEX, Scope rather returns to his favorite game: Basketball. It's better to play ballz with elite players. A problem in Singapore is, good teams are hard to find as talents are moving out...]

COMEX: The Broken Recorder.

When I read on the 27th that COMEX (Singapore’s computer or IT show) was coming on the 28th, I decided to load the goods before I drove to Bugis to park for COMEX. Now the frustrating part was the ERP which clocked Xpm to Ypm at a certain toll rate, and when I thought ERP was dead for the day at Ypm+1second, the fucking toll rate increased and the clock reported it was ERP rate from Ypm to Zpm…

Hey~ I thought even machines needed to rest!

Never mind, I never drove through the ERP. Maybe I should have driven into the gantry instead, then Singaporeans may hail Scope as the hero. I don’t understand why traffic was so light and ERP was on as well. Maybe if I did so, the native minister may thank me for helping to demolish the gantry for free, and raise a Scope statue there in order to commemorate the great service of Scope rendered to Singapore in place of the ERP. It could end up a cool tourist sight.

Sounds like a joke, but imagine if the minister were to order a pizza or Kenduckie Fried Chickees (or whatever) and the sotong driver passed two ERPs and the one at Bugis hits a toll rate of S$6… Die lah! So fucking expensive! Heart pain, right?

“What?! Two fried chickee wings cost $6+$6+$1?! You crazy, is it?!”

This joke helps to save the sanity of Singapore in a way.

[Alamak! Anything Special?] COMEX 2008, I have been waiting for it for two months already. Why? Scope is a cheapskate, that’s why. Mr brother knows his only brother very well, that he always go for the lowest price possible for the same thing; very good at sourcing. Instead of spending $100,000+for a machine, he’s getting the machine for $1,000.

Now COMEX is no longer appealing to old birds such as Scope. Latest products are not appealing because you know you can get them cheaper and earlier possibly in China; the peripherals are way more expensive than China’s rates, but the memory cards are priced ok in Singapore as compared to China… But then, when you know where to get super cheap memory cards in Singapore, COMEX becomes useless in a way.

The only reason why I had been waiting for COMEX was for the printer ink cartridges. You got them cheaper at COMEX and you got them with free gifts. I could buy two packages at COMEX with the same money for only one package usually.

Other than that, nothing else really to buy in general.

Some booths did catch my attention at this COMEX. The M1 booth was offering a cool 500MMS for free plan for the same money I was paying to M1 then. Imagine Edison could be sending his dick’s pictures around via MMS for free to 500 pretties a month, and what’s more… he can choose 3 M1 users to spread his love around via phone calls for free as well! And Edison can have IDD calls to 19 countries around the world with the cheapskate plan, so wherever he runs road to, he could still piss off 19 countries…

Good plan. I immediately signed up for a fucking change. And it was not even a renewal of contract!

Then there were other booths, the Lim N Tan Online Trading and the OCBC Online Trading. Interesting, because I have been thinking of online trading for about… a decade. However, it’s the same fucking issue… What if the account is hacked into, and no one will be responsible for dick deals, and you’d be gone case? Every salesman will tell you nothing has happened so far, but I have little trust for local finance people, much less so for salespeople from finance sector… But very tempting lor, because the cheaper the cost (commission), the lesser the risk and the more you can make from trading with more techniques.

One booth made me laughed quietly: The Hardwarezone. It was very funny that they were selling publication when they have the website cum forum for all the real-time gossips and updates free to probably the same people who are interested with IT, and thus the publication.

Another booth interested me as well. The fake ink booth, and I forgot the name not on purpose. The interest came from the offer of cheaper ink and acessories at COMEX; I could use the offer for large scale publishing soon…

The last booth worth the mention here was one selling the solar-charger. Point is, if I were to get a Sony SR12e, I can’t rely on its freaky battery to last long enough for the shooting. A solar charger will come in handy. But I have seen this ‘latest invention’ in China a year back… So nothing new lah~

The Sony SR12E was actually sold for S$2899?! I am getting it at S$2000 in Malaysia… and probably lower next year.

Actually, there was another booth that interested me, but… I doubt I’d buy the S$120 software that can produce music using a computer instead of a keyboard. But I’d keep an eye on that, nonetheless. Point is, Movie Edit Pro Plus 14 has something like that… if I am not wrong. So why in the fuck should I waste S$120 at COMEX? In the event Movie Edit is without, the music processing can still be done in China with Chinese software via email. Not a problem. The only problem is with the blue screen and HD rendering… As the initial plan is, it’s possible only by next year when basically the 2.88ghz quad core 4mb ram with 88′ 512mb card dips to a fair price. Now S$8.90 is getting you a 2gbtye flash memory. Memory is no longer an issue, but the acting crew is.

If not for the reality of the market, I’d have ditched the humans for 3D characters. I am a professional, not the Singaporean type lah~

[After a thought, Scope decides to pull Shakira in after all. The world may have changed, but after thousands of years, hips may not lie, but women do lie still. We shalt love our women, but there is no need to lose your heads for them. Shakira sure can shake... but how many years can she shake? When the women pale and wither, that's when they will know if hips lie or not... because love never lies.]

Cosmo Nature: Frontier Super Fold.

The Japanese has a pretty weird way of defining English. What the hack is ‘Cosmo Nature’? I picked this up in Macross Frontier, but here it literally means… something.

Basically, a mother and daughter came and raised the concern about Project S. But the issue of competition has never been an issue, and yes… Project S is meant to wait. The whole idea of Project S or Singaporeans is that most see this as a business idea.

Well, if this is a business idea, it’s never a new one, isn’t it? China is shooting drama series. Mediacorpse is shooting drama series. The whole world is shooting drama series. So what’s so special about Project S? So what’s the hurry?

In cultural sector, there is really no such thing as competition when it comes to movies. Reason is pretty straight forward, and can be easily explained that just because you watched Macross Frontier doesn’t mean you won’t buy Final Fantasy VII. Just because you watched Hellboy II doesn’t mean you won’t go for Batman IV dvd. So what’s the point about hurrying, especially when I am supposed to be in charge?

There is only competition when you produce rubbish, and you hope the money will come earlier before the next rubbish arrives. Which is why Gung Fu can wait, Stephen Chow can wait… because Project S is hoping to enhance quality, not to rip short term profits. So what you rack in millions of dollars now? Once the market matures, it is still the quality and sincerity behind a respectable effort in cultural sector. This mess is not going to stop as long as the puny pie remains… rotten or not, doesn’t matter.

What matters is it should be a large cake, not a tiny rotten pie infested with worms. That’s the big picture. And which is why I won’t be bothered with this: I know I am not qualified… I tried the industry before in Malaysia, won’t work.

I met a guy, he said that. He was active in Malaysia in the circles for a moment, and he thought it was impossible. But it is precisely because we want to stay away from the main rot, that we intend to start Project S. So that’s the psychology I have to deal with. Nobody really looks directly at what is there. Everybody is having their own ideas when there is only one idea… It seems to be a common problem in Southeast Asia.

Makes me pretty reluctant to work with the people here…

The acting crew is an issue… The mentality and attitude of southerners are pretty… scary. They don’t have a dream, the passion, the vigor you see in those Chinese up North like myself. They probably see Project S as another ATM to money and rewards, a business where competition matters.

Why in the fuck do I need them? And someone is asking this silly question: Are you from Mediacorpse?

You can’t blame these people since their world is only that big and their mindsets are so simple. I might as well go Geylang pay those pretty faces the fucking rates and shoot ‘Sperms’… A movie named ‘Sperms’, ok? I can’t believe it~ It won’t work in Singapore, these people ain’t global!

Even talking to them requires a huge effort. I have no problem understanding why Singapore can’t click with China.

OMG~

I’d be a very happy man if fellow Singaporeans can actually make sense for one day. Can this be done?

Low morale is one thing, but I can sense young girls do have an interest in being shot. Like one auntie said, young naughty girls who love to have fun will love it; but I sincerely want young but not so young girls who have passion. Because once you got on screen, once you got public, you can expect criticisms and alot more, and you can’t expect to behave as some governments going around suing people, or expect to be Dawn Yang II. And you are expected to be global…

It’s not that fun if you can’t handle publicity; then what’s the point of being a star? What’s the point of Project S? I might as well open a law firm instead!

Between a 戏子 and a 演员, a choice must be made. Acting should be a respectable social activity, actors should be respectable individuals, and not mere commercial commodities like the entertainment industry at Geylang. The passion in this honorable sector of culture makes the difference. I mean, who the fuck is passionate in being a hooker, passionate in fucking for cash?

Yeah right, pervert.

A cake should not be a rotten pie. A beautiful cultural industry should groom talents, not hookers. It should have beautiful scenes, wonderful idols, and move the society in the right direction… not the society moves the industry into commercial rots with idols sucking cocks and playing petty politics just to get a role. I sometimes find that prostitutes may have more pride and honesty hence worth more respect than many in the circles…

Hopefully, the local interest will fuel a possibility of something more beautiful than what low morale promises.

So, do you know what Cosmo Nature means?

Think of you
[Scope remembers that when the shots were full body, people wanted up close shots. Since, there have been a couple of such close shots, and shots without make-up since Scope doesn't like make up. The best effect here is to crop the image 40% from up, and just focus on the eyes of Scope... Some girls exclaimed they like the stare. The CGP with Shakira is coming... Whew~ She really can shake.]

Maslow was a politician who told people that he’d serve the nation with an empty stomach first above all others… so God becomes jobless.

Scope has to be honest, that he was on fever for the last few days and has been since coughing till now probably due to the frequent overseas trips lately and he is not feeling well even as he is typing now… and yet, there is unfinished business out there. So…

So health comes first, money can be made anytime. The demise of Jurong GRC’s Dr Ong shows clearly that no matter how powerful and rich a man is, as what we all said in China, he only has one puny life. And it only worths a 1000RMB if you know the right people… Ok, this part yields a little to the justice* system, which I believe is the way getting fashionable. But the point is still, get the point?

[Olympics Joke] Many global contestants for Olympics are hesitating to arrive earlier in Beijing due to the infamous pollution there. I believe Beijing would have done all it could to suppress pollution level because not doing so would mean huge loss of face, and that’s very important in China.

Scope had visited Beijing a couple of years before the last trip, and Beijing was filling the roads with bicycles long time ago. Then, Beijing becomes congested with tons of Volvos and many makes with pollution level hitting all times high. That should probably teach every government in the world the price of leaving things to market forces since Beijing’s consumption power for the right things is ridiculously explosive. Now, who says China’s purchasing power is low, which has been one excuse for some movie players over the issue of profitability?

However, the joke is this… Many contestants who shall show up only on the day starting with the opening ceremony and wait for their events would probably curse and swear at their ill-decisions. Many of us took about 3~7 days before the bodies openly protested to the pollution when the rashes and dehydration kicked in. Which is about to say that if the contestants were to arrive for the opening ceremony, and take a day or two or a week or more to finish the entire competition, which is mostly the latter case, the unsuspecting constestants would have been enjoying the first body strain just in the midst of his very gan-cheong race to victory.

The body needs time to adjust.

Beijing’s pollution problem is not merely due to vehicles and constructions. Natural waves includ sand storms and pollutants at times from nearby mining provinces, and everyday, the pressure change in Beijing will force fouls from untended pools which are linked to sewages which are linked to drains all across the city into the atmosphere. Drinkable water has to be directed from nearby provinces such as Shanxi to Beijing.

The only way to overcome this for the contestant is to stay indoor when he arrives, or before the big day that he has already months of conditioning his body for the Beijing environment.

So, the old saying that early birds get the worms may still be valid. Those who are thinking of outsmarting the environment could be just their very own undoing.

[Divorce Of The Century] It could be much regretable but celebrated at the same time as Ryoko Hirosue got her first divorce! Regretable since I doubt women normally love divorces, but celebrated because the super beauty of Asia is once again available for many dripping sausages!

Hopefully, Ryoko will find herself the right sausage soon.

[Olympic Joke II] Just as China prepares itself for the world as foreigners are expected to flood Olympics, Scope recently encountered an obvious nutcase of a Chinese blogger from Sohu at Sohu. Check it out at the private messages at http://scopettg.blog.sohu.com around the last week of July 2008. An obvious menace, and the blogger only got more and more absurd. She started out by calling names at Scope, slashing at points erractically, and it was obvious she was out of her mind by flooding the private message column with all her more or less duplicated copies. And what started it? Absolutely nothing!

We’d going to have an ‘Olympic’ as I’d need to delete her malicious spamming and nosenses which she seems to be pretty on with…

Alright, there are such loose screws as well in China, but the proportion of such nutcases to normal cases is still pretty wonderful as compared to outside the China sphere, such as what one can see in Singaporean forums or blogs or… well~

This blogger (张金玲在线广播) doesn’t seem to bother that while China is trying to project a good image for Olympics, she is trying to sound like an idiot, helping China to throw faces… spamming and nosensically shooting and…

Yeah, Scope’d just let her yell on, but as I have been straight to point with her eventually, I’d going to delete all those nosenses of hers. She definitely has no self-respect for her puny self.

[Tough Luck In Singapore] I hate it… Because I really love it when I got 9 strikes out of 10 in China, picked up monies frequently and… now you’d spend plenty of money and nothing hits! The fortune teller is right… So I’d wait.

[Dawn Yang And Xiaxue] Ha! This is the last thing Scope’d want to talk about. Absolutely sianx… Next~

[Walter Woon Gone Radical With Hodgson Criteria] I suppose there is a need to waste some finger-energy on this one in a more majestic, dedicated, sophisticated, and… long winded thesis production on this story. That’s of course, if you suppose that Scope is fucking crazy…

Very interesting issue in real, but too chim for Scope.

[WordPress Stats Goyak] Umm~ This is a real shocker. Perhaps it could be because Scope is an IT blur, and when a couple of us found out there were problems with the stats, I was shocked when Hanni told us it was because of the database. Know what that could mean?

So if you want to have the hits like what the two cats fighting are getting, all you need to do is just to mess around with the database, and since it is not reflecting real-time, there could be plenty of time to decide how much hits up and down to edit. Now, Scope is not all concerning about hits, but there has been a long suspicion that something has not been ok since one fucking day, I knew 10 computers was loading my blog but the reading then was like not so matching.

Recently, I have checked around technorati, Ping.sg, Pingoat and Pingomatic, and those were down or something weird was going on. How weird it was? It just wasn’t like when Scope started out in blogging with WordPress.

But then, that’s what always happen in virtual reality. Nothing is really reliable. Who knows, maybe 1,000,000,000 people are reading your cock-up morning trying to chew off the tap from your boyfriend and you always think no one is watching.

[Scope has been thinking of doing a dramatic appearance in the parliament, and here goes. The topic is about rapist since he read about another sex scandal of SIA lately. This part 1 CGP shows a politically apathetic hopeless romantic in an overdriven zeal in the tropical outfit... and below is part 2. There is no political implication intented behind this CGP.]

Singapore: The Tales Of Two Cats.

By Ang Peng Hwa

The lawsuit between two of Singapore’s top bloggers is alarming. It may spill over into the larger blogging community and could even backfire on the two involved.

Given that no writer or editor can be free of errors all the time, defamation suits can and do crop up. But, often, those between a media organisation and an individual can be settled quietly.

It is, however, quite another matter altogether when one content producer sues another. This may set a precedent with far-reaching consequences.

First, some background. On June 30 and July 3, in blog entries that have since been removed, Ms Wendy Cheng made in her Xiaxue blog some unfavourable remarks about Ms Dawn Yang. On July 15, Ms Yang’s lawyers sent a letter to Ms Cheng demanding an apology.

The rule of thumb in defamation suits is that one sends a lawyer’s letter when one is reasonably confident of winning. Accordingly, the letter and the requisite letter of apology were sent. That is, Ms Yang expected Ms Cheng to apologise using the letter her lawyer had written.

If, however, the recipient refuses to comply, it must be followed very quickly by a suit. Otherwise, the recipient can go to town waving the lawyer’s letter and say: ‘Look, it was an empty threat.’ Well, in this case, the lawsuit has been filed.

In a blog entry dated July 22, Ms Cheng posted Ms Yang’s lawyer’s letters online. If the statements in question were defamatory, this blog entry would have repeated the defamation.

The law is a two-edged sword: It can cut the wielder too. To avoid being sued, would Singapore blogs have to be sanitised by lawyers? If so, how edgy can they be? And what appeal would they have if they aren’t edgy?

This particular libel suit may lead to self-censorship. In which case, the biggest losers would be the biggest bloggers.

To be sure, American newspapers have sued other American newspapers in US courts. But they take care to frame the issue so as to contain any spillover effects. But the same care does not seem to have been exercised in this case.

What should Ms Yang and Ms Cheng do?

Firstly, they should try to settle the matter offline and outside the court. Who knows what legal ruling might issue from this case, potentially hurting the blogosphere? No one can go to court 100 per cent sure of victory.

Secondly, if they insist on their day in court, they should confine the issues to minimise any ’spillover’ effects. For example, they should not demand that the loser must run an advertisement in all the newspapers in Singapore to apologise.

This would set a precedent for future defamation cases involving blogging. And that in turn would set a precedent for all other media.

To avoid a ’spillover’ of unintended legal consequences, the two bloggers should narrow the issue down to the essential, keeping in mind that they themselves would be subject to whatever rules emerge from this suit.

Thirdly, the Xiaxue blog claims that some donors have contributed money to Ms Cheng’s legal defence. This is unwise. Such donations would fuel a war where there is no knowing who might be hit by the stray bullets.

Bloggers need to be educated about the law. Ms Cheng says in her blog FAQ: ‘I took media law in school (and fared quite well for [sic] it too) and I know what I can say.’

That is a bold assertion indeed when defamation law can befuddle even the most seasoned of lawyers.

Two years ago, my colleagues and I at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information conducted a workshop on the laws affecting blogging. A small group of bloggers attended the workshop. The blogosphere was apparently upset that we had even dared to suggest bloggers needed any education that might inhibit their freedom of expression.

What can we say now? Clearly, ignorance is not bliss.

The writer is chair of the Nanyang Technological University’s Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information.

Scope’d have to rant about the above, chanced upon from http://alvinology.wordpress.com/2008/07/31/dawn-yang-and-her-copyrights. As much as my reluctance to cover this, Scope does have something to say and nobody is obliged to listen.

This chap Ang is probably right about this case, though Scope believes that he didn’t go deeper when he should and probably could. As another chap Kishore shared, Asians don’t think, so who knows about Ang? So this chap Scope must first state that this blog case is not usual. Actually, the legal aspect of this has been discussed before in WordPress forum. As Scope has long indicated via comment in Xiaxue’s blog, that she should approach lawyers with international laws background since such precedent would be confusing to the already confused global legal experts, not to say it’s Singapore.

[Talking Cock Vs Talking Gold] The background of this is Xiaxue and Dawn Yang are two commercialized bloggers, or more technically put: Commercial contents providers. They may have started out as bloggers, but this case is in real one which is between an entertainment company and a modeling agency with the two cats as vehicles. So technically speaking, this is merely a case between two commercial entities… not two bloggers. And yes, Singapore court can admit such cases as with any Donkey Coy Vs Bitch Broadcast Station. The problem of this case, however, is not really solved.

While more and more bloggers nowadays blog with the intention of monetary gains via google ads and such, the real impact comes when they themselves declare to be commercial entities, political circulations, or simply some credible news reporting units or platforms. These people who are making uses of blog hosts to host official entities under the guise of bloggers should not be regarded as blogging in the first place.

So you see why Scope agrees earlier with Ang but Scope obviously sees Ang’s concerns are more or less not to the point. Yes, this could be a precedent and there could be a spill over effect if the Singaporean judges are cracked-up; No, this is not the usual blogosphere case where the judges by right should jam in any rules for blogging with this issue. It is not really whether Xiaxue or Dawn should limit the case’s influence, but the whole direction is that the court should be inclined to see these two bloggers as Strait Times Online Vs Zaobao Online than to see that as Tan Ah Kow Blogging Vs Lin Lao Bei Feedback. The legal standings are different here, hence the outcome of justice would be.

So the issue is not so much as ‘This would set a precedent for future defamation cases involving blogging. And that in turn would set a precedent for all other media.‘, the real issue is the court of Singapore could display ignorance and unprofessionalism in having ‘This would set a precedent for future defamation cases involving blogging. And that in turn would set a precedent for all other media.‘.

Get the point?

Where is there really a precedent when this case is just another defamation case? It’s not really a true blogging case!

As Ang has pointed out about USA online newpapers’ legal war on fellow online newspapers, this assertion of such examples is a clue of confusion that Scope is looking at for the local judicial scene. Can you expect New York Times’ legal status, legal nature, legal rewards hence responsibility to be the same as Chow Ah Gua blogging? Nosensical basically to assume so. Or do you you expect Ang Peng Hwa’s talk on laws and a Mama Shop’s Ang Gu Kuey’s talk on laws to be of the same nature? Now if Ang’s talk is unprofessional, you can expect a backlash; if that Ang Ku Kuey’s talk law is talking cock, who will bother? What, you expect Ang Ku Kuey’s legal perception should be standard, then Scope expects you to be crazy… rationally speaking.

So here’s the basic confusion which is the whole point for this stupid case, if the court admits it… and the court runs into the danger of a complete mockery to itself due to the confusion, and subsequently exposes further the weakness of local laws to deliver justice proper. It is ok if the lady of justice is blind…

…it’s not ok if the lady of justice is blind and confused.

[The truth about the words here is that the orignal words are probably: "And where, and where is the batman~" and "Fuck you, rapist!". But in consideration of the Singapore mindset, the F word is replaced by '...alongside with ERP...' which is more hip with Singaporeans nowadays. If one is careful enough, you'd discover that the front row was 'rebuilt' in the two 'scenes'. The original picture has PM Lee in front presenting. So the walls and chair have to be rebuilt; Even Mr Arthur Fong was 'rebuilt'. Again, there is no political implication intented here.]
[Out Of The Box Idea With Inbox Controls] Basically, aside from the unreadiness for the local courts to handle blog cases due to the confusion, it is basically by right illegal to do so from the lone legal power of a lone state of Singapore. Or we should describe it in this manner: …to do so with the lone legal power derived from a lone state of a tiny Chartered member of UN, where (eg) its decision over Pedra Branca is based on international court basis.

Now, why would Scope hope Xiaxue would bring in lawyers with international laws as background instead of lawyers who have merely chewed local laws in their specialized context? You cannot have justice by omitting the broader legal framework, as in Singapore’s case.

Especially in Singapore’s case.

Of the many issues in this case, first of all, the point of contention is about the blog contents (of Xiaxue). We have discussed already the legal binding issues of blog contents in this blog, to Malaysia’s embarassment when it actually used blog contents to much amusement for the fight of Pedra Branca. Email contents were not upheld as legally binding before it was so upheld, but the problem of blog contents is that it is different in nature from that of emails. Emails don’t have comments channel, emails can’t be subjected to will and fancy revisions anytime, and blog postings ain’t spams… and the natural differences don’t end here.

Since, the blog contents are provided not by licensed contents providers that are restricted to local authorities nor local readership, hence local justice. Nor are the providers (writers) necessarily trained professional licensed journalists to justified any credibility to start with. While we do not need to assess Xiaxue’s mental state of health for this civil case, basically, the nature of blogging is even a mental case probably as Scope could be blogging… that even a luatic can have his or her online diary with inputs directly from Institute Of Mental Health (IMH). In China, even prostitutes blog.

So we know that this licensed (assuming extreme absurdity that the government did license a luatic…) journalist permanently residing at IMH blogs, but how can we assert that any blog post is by the hands of that nutcase? Many celebrities in China, for instance, have ‘helpers’ to blog for them. So even if we have Luatic.wordpress.kong privatised or commercialized in court, it’d just be an international joke to attempt justice in such cases.

Well, are we going to use this “I don’t believe you** to be professional? Nosense.

Bloggers nor luatics need credibility in official sense, anyway.

But the most important issue in this case is still political. An aspect that Scope doesn’t want to deal with, since he is politically stupid, uninformed and apathetic… he can’t think straight in this, so that part is too chim for him to elaborate. But the subtle issue behind blog cases as the above discussions having laid the foundation for can be noted based on the international nature of blogging.

Before that, some USA readers might protest… Yes yes, it is quite true that as a major UN veto chap, USA has recently murdered a Mexico rapist via its own laws with disregards to Vienna’s convention… much to the apparent irk of the UN, but that is nothing if one sees USA sending troops to bang Afganistan then Iraq all without UN… But USA readers must understand that it would be so wonderful if Singapore can secure Pedra Branca just by sending in the SAF and bo chap UN as well… …

Again, the nature of this must be observed, because that’s the basis of Singapore’s global existence.

So… saying that actually explains the issue… quite adequately.

And the problem is, local law scenes can’t get the Rights issues proper, are focused very much on native textbook-based, and when we look all over the internet, very few understand the implications over such blog cases. And it is hard not to feel abit sad that Ang doesn’t seem to perceive in this direction so discussed here. It is a case which is very much similar subtly to Singapore’s attitude towards Pedra Branca. First of all, Xiaxue’s blog contents are not restricted nor necessarily licensed by the state of Singapore, and are subjected to international coverage by the readers from all over the world. How can Singapore unilaterally enforced itself on Xiaxue, and the blog host?

Now in USA, hosts are pretty much protected, natively speaking. But that is not the necessary case all over the world. The point is, for the same blog supposedly called PedraBranca.blogX.kong with HiWorld blog host, Singaporeans are assuming that this international entity is legal to be legally subjected to a court decision in one part of the world. If that is so, why didn’t Singapore court just rule against the Malaysians and claim Pedra Branca for itself, but subject the issue to possible French’s, British’s, Indian’s, etc’s attention?

How can HiWorld blog host and a blog be legally acceptable and unacceptable at the same time in the same world?

The law won’t be a two-edged sword here as Ang put it, it’d be an international joke. Although Dawn and Xiaxue may be indeed Singaporeans, but their blogging are very much as gambling in the open seas***.

Ignorance is not a bliss, indeed. But as the saying always go: In a room of insanes, being sane is not a bliss…  In a room of ignorance, being awared may not be a bliss either. After all, how many asians do think? And in such a room, being talented is probably meaning a certain disaster. Which could be why many are thinking of migrating.

In this future we are in, many people are confused. In this room of confusion, it could be a bliss to be another confused. But confusion itself always lead to disaster. Then it becomes a chicken and egg issue. To be a clear-minded in a room of confusion is a disaster, but to be a room of confusion… that room is a disaster in the making. So what is your choice?

Try to get out of that room, baby.

Actually, Ang is right in a way, that bloggers need to be educated about laws… but then what kind of laws? And how many lawyers will it make sense for the blogosphere? And why would we want a meritocratic nosense in global blogosphere? To illustrate Singapore’s uniqueness? Or to just tell the world, Singapore just can’t… and won’t click with the world, ironically as a cosmopolitan.

So now you know why Scope is reluctant to touch on this issue, but has to. It’s just so stupid… the whole case is just showing how ugly is Singapore, it makes ministerial efforts in promoting blogging a total joke, and no one is really responsible in trying to make some sense out of this other than making Sue a slut.

Is this a blog case? Is Xiaxue still a blogger? Is that her personal diary writing or her job? So the case is the same for Dawn. And please, to be a celebrity is not just sue those who are not happy with you and pretend that the world loves you. This is just self-deceiving, and totally unprofessional being an aspiring celebrity.

Anyway, in my personal view, does Singapore know love?

Yeah yeah… …

To Scope, this case is indeed alarming… because this is a 100% educated population, and this is what he sees. All one needs is a 0% educated population to be ridiculous, ugly, short sighted, and go around threatening to sue… why waste so much budget in education over such a joke?

We have seen the Malaysian experts, educated, highly ranked, and they went to the International Court of Justice justifying their claim on Pedra Branca based on the credence of a blog’s content, and they entertained even fellow Malaysians with the joke.

If Singapore can claim cyberspace as theirs for legal justifications, then Singapore can claim the open seas, the moon, the galaxy… and everyone in the known and unknown universe won’t have chewing gums since the Singapore law prohibits chewing gums.

OMG~ See? That’s why Scope is an idiot****

* There is an understanding in that justice system is never reliable… but justice can still be delivered because some believe strongly so. The system which protects the evil where such evil encounters what is equally or more evil that is outside the system. In a way, my perception of the assassin industry does change as many outside Singapore see this as a viable venue to justice. Which is why there is a saying, however powerful or rich, a person is only worth a bullet. Many professional hired guns are not bothered with the authority since they have prepared themselves for this line, and many are organised and protected in a way. The demand for their service depends on basically two things: the network and the societal situation whereby such penetration of such network is conducive; the more corrupt of a society, the more welcoming to such networks.

** If you are a regular in this piece of crap, you can spot this crap somewhere in a recent posting. If you can’t, I really don’t believe you. LOL~

*** By right, this case of Xiaxue vs Dawn is not even a blogosphere related case. Xiaxue and Dawn are so commercialized openly in such a manner you can claim that their blogs are online magazines. There is a basic difference when you say X is bad because you may be paid or motivated by certain commercial interest to do so, and when you say X is bad during REACH or in your diary. But Ang’s concern is pretty valid because courts all over the world are pretty confused… and the blogosphere happens to be in the open seas of signals and packets of energies all over the world, and into outer space. Obviously, a confused court which equally confused everyone is pretty useless… or even harmful. Which is why I am pretty unpleased with Dawn’s side, for such selfish legal push is totally moronic to the global blogging community and ironical as Dawn is an aspiring celebrity.

**** Unless one becomes an idiot, it is hardly possible to close both eyes on the coming joke… before people left the room, the only option is to pretend to be idiots in the room. Sad but true, international laws are as the UN is… states such as USA can just bo chap, and one can say it is highly unreliable. But what about Singapore? On one hand, you want international laws to protect you, on the other hand, you ditch international laws and claim you are the laws internationally. Of cos, states can enforce with their powers, but enforcing with powers alone means abuse. You don’t need the court if you don’t expect the people to believe in justice. Another chicken and egg issue… all in a nutshell… no. All in a nutcase.

[Scope draws. Anyway, there is little or no shading here since with Manga Studio Debut, why do you need waste your ink? But software may help, it is still the skills one must acquire. It's about how Scope looked like when he woke up this morning.]
Know what~ Geylang is infamous in Singapore for some of the finest whore-some actions, that if you need pumping actions from anything better, then you’d need to visit those discos to get higher class hookers, or you just dope the ignorant girls and ’ship’ them to some small hotels and you can… …

So what’s the big deal with Geylang?

Scope is hoping to go asap!

Recently, there is something wonderful happening there, the delicious durians are selling for S$0.10 each! Yeah right! And it’s so fucking cheap that news reported that ugly Singaporeans are getting uglier doing hooks and crooks to get more durians… The quota for each customer is about 4 durians, which is about S$0.40, and Singaporeans will get ugly for S$0.40; so cheap. Durians were sold at about S$2.00 on average for average grade, so selling at S$0.10 each because of good harvest makes the blood boils. And this fire-sales is happening at Geylang, and Scope hopes not to miss out the fun of seeing the ugly Singaporeans’ greedy rush to the cheap durians.

Now… What will happen if the pretty whores offer fucking for S$1.00? Maybe a bloody war may be produced. You can imagine those ah pehs (Singlish: old men) dragging their ding dongs (Outlandish: Penis+s) again and again crawling back to Geylang for a S$1.00 hook-up.

Geylang, it’s where the happenings in Singapore.

When I heard of the cheap durian news, I immediately knew this would happen. But the major problem was, the other day I tried to walk to Geylang from Bugis, I managed to loiter around Geylang Bahru, and… no sight of crowds, no sight of pretty hookers, no… I got lost at that night~

For the last 32 years, Scope has never been to Geylang for the girls, so right now I am still not sure where the fuck are those fucking actions to be located… It’d be a miss not to observe ugly smart Singaporeans’ greediness over the cheap durians in this 100% educated society. Some years back, something happened in Joo Chiat with ugly neighbors’ disputes drawing kpo visitors even from Malaysia to watch! And hilariously, one of the ugly folks was a school lecturer!

100% educated society… kiss my ass, baby~

Pretty insulting. But that’s our education, that’s our society, and what can Scope do about this mature population? I have just bought S$10 worth of durians, but I don’t mind trying to locate that fire-sales stall in Geylang just for the thrill of seeing the news-reported crowd cheong-ing after the S$0.10 meat. Maybe I may end up spotting a pretty whore there and ‘open thy legs and let me in’ really for S$1.00…

A pretty actually told me this before: Scope, if you find a hooker, I am not sure if it’s the hooker who’d enjoy more or you. Whatever it means, it’s not my business to elaborate. Anyway, there have been a couple of happenings, and I shall cover them in one shot. Here are my takes~

[Xiaxue's Hot Don Yam Soup] Scope has decided that this is not worthy to be a main item in the blog, so other than touching briefly on this bo-liao story in notices here, he’d just slot this into this tiny sub-section. Anyway, there is this auntie Jinny Kok at http://jinnykok.wordpress.com/2008/07/03/im-not-only-an-auntie-but-a-kaypoh-one-too/ blogging about this story who is looking not only too young to be auntie, not too bad looking, and smiles like sunshine, it’s from her blog that I even knew Dawn Yang’s blog exists.

Xiaxue’s case and Jean’s case are pretty different. Technically speaking, Xiaxue’s blog is opened for lawsuits, in that while her blog shalt hold little credibility in journalistic worth, her blog which she derives occupational income from is within the legal boundary as Dawn Yang is also a blogger who enjoys a similar nature in ‘competition’ to Xiaxue’s. Whilst there is such a subtle implication of monetary interests involved… one cannot claim Xiaxue’s blog is any other blog not because Xiaxue enjoys high hits but because Xiaxue officially claimed success in commercializing her blog.

Yes. It’s possible for a case especially when Xiaxue had obtained the service of a lawyer and officially threatened a Xialanxue (another blogger). Personal views on celebrities or even political leaders are ok, but any tort in English-related laws required mens rea or a direct challenge to the state*, it’s not really a crime, and Xiaxue has fulfilled all the ’requirements’.

But since Xiaxue’s apology had been accepted by Dawn, which Dawn subsequently ‘deleted’ this part in her blog, Xiaxue becomes strong unless Dawn has an officially strong reason to ‘retract’ the acceptance**.

Remember the case about dead star’s interest? This is all about legal principles, and in tort, legal principles are where the fight is. Similarly, the principle that special privilege in defamation exists between spouses is as similar to spouses’ words on record for general support are weak in most cases. A dead star or old man who by record is still receiving grants is as absurd as he or she to issue fresh spendings on his or her son (which in this case is ‘inheritance’) being dead. Dead receiving bills from government or dead receiving grants by relatives using the dead’s finger for the print exist in the most ridiculous fashion. Legally speaking, any dead who shall receive anything from damages should never be intended for future expenditure (give and take) since he/she is already dead, which hence has no legal right in ‘fighting a case’ for the purpose of getting damages to effect an ‘inheritance’ for the living, since… the dead can’t be tried.

Interesting, but seemingly off topic… Ok ok, but these are illustrating principles.

The point is pretty simple. Dawn Yang has deleted the ‘acceptance’ in her blog, this deleted acceptance is more a historical event initiated by Dawn herself which is more to the nature of a verbal contract between two parties instead of just another posting deletion, or document amendment.

Complicated? Not really.

But recent news yielded that it could be mainly the fight between Xiaxue’s entertainment company and Dawn’s model agency… which could be really just some ‘plot’ among themselves. Who knows? It is not uncommon in the entertainment industry to cook up such events to gain attention.

But in any case, this Catfight is pretty ugly… and stupid, and sadly… it’s Singaporean again. Why? Ain’t they already sharing one Kotex? Luckily, these Cats keep their opera outside the court, or this is going to be a ‘challenge to our jurdicial system‘. Say, for the same blog (contents), it is hardly funny for state as Singapore to assert its legal preference that another state may find such contents legitimate. For one legal entity, how can it be right and wrong at the same time? Which state can claim absolute sovereignty of open-cyberspace?

Here’s a penny in cyberspace, it is designed and made by a Singaporean in German factory for sales in 100 countries under the same charter and by using USA steel which is processed in Iran… Everyone has a claim. Well, can I say something?

The penny belongs to Scope. How? Problem solved.

Anyway, just discover a busybody who got a blog just for this purpose: http://xxvsdy.blogspot.com/ . Visit the link if one can’t stop being nosy, Scope won’t bother about this silly Catfight further lest necessary.

[Dr Ong Chit Chung, Walk Well!] In Chinese: 翁同志,走好!This was the usual line by the older communists in China when people like Mr Mao died. Jurong GRC loses one MP, and Scope is totally blurred since it takes an ignorant chap almost forever to locate Jurong and understand what is a GRC which appears pretty much like ‘Get Rich Centre’ to the average ignorant Singaporeans. To a lowly nobody who really is too stupid to understand all these politically-related chim chim things… there is nothing much that Scope can say.

But there is a subtle… rumor going on that after an MP was walloped, another MP made news of being threatened by his resident, and now Dr Ong’s death at the age of 59 (considered pretty young in politics, which Scope is totally apathetic towards) when he was in the midst of writing what Bukit Bakua’s history or what… it’s just too sudden. And some are talking about autopsy, about possible ‘artificial’ removal from office. So Scope can expect some juice from the government to clear things up soon, hence before that, there is nothing much Scope can say.

No matter what, life goes on. I sure hope that those he has left behind will take things easier, though I know it is pretty difficult to part with love ones. Life is such an irony: To forget is like a signal of no love; to remember is like a punishment forever.

Do treasure those who are still alive, and fighting to be alive… those who are gone shall never return, but they have their fair share of life. Dr Ong, walk well~ and do bless your people with better times ahead!

[In every hell, there is a flame of justice held in the hands of the often most unexpected guy. There are always fake monks fake charities, fake this fake that... So where is justice when one needs it? Hellboy III should be about Singapore, isn't it? The fight with monsters is getting hotter as this compact society matures. When evil is the fashion, divine attention will be needed. Let's burn hell down...]
[A Botak's Tale: See My Hair?] What is a botak (Singlish: hairless) with six dots on the head? It’s usually a monk or an abbot. What about a monk or abbot who forges documents for $$$? It’s usually a monk who knows black magic or an abbot playing police and thief. And where does a monk who knows black magic and loves playing police and thief play holy shit? He got two playgrounds: one in his monastery and the other is his nice condo; whether he has condoms or not is not the issue here, since this monk with too much wonderful business acumen has his business busted or not going too well as reported has wasted more time on reading ’How to be CEO’, so until he becomes a successful CEO, condoms should be out of the issue.

Why? He hasn’t the time for Kama Sutra before he finishes ‘How to be CEO’! Though his personal assistant has a library of reportedly 130 over porn films, who needs Kama Sutra?

Know why does Scope feel so upset over this incredible abbot?

This is one monk who plays with Buddha fire; he wanted to be a monk, he plays with religion as an abbot. We all know in Chinese: 四大皆空。In Buddhism, greed is a taboo; killing is a taboo, meat and wine are taboos, and… pornos are taboos. So you want to be a monk, so be one!

Yet this boo boo abbot called Ming Yi pursues wealth with forgeries, and hidding behind a dummy’s name, has a personal space in condo, and drives a big black car; he associated himself with a personal helper who was loaded with 100+ porns as an abbot; and whether he is really having a business acumen or not, he simply killed Buddha’s face. This is the infamous monk infamous for years in Singapore!

And this is the monk who was a regular with bogus fund raising shows for old NKF cum mediacorpse, and an obvious associate of another big joker, a Mr TT Durai. Talk about black magic…

Now which part in his sutra that Buddha aspired to be a CEO, made utopia in a condo, and drove around in a Merceedees, while hanging out with an apu ne dragging a golden tap and his team of simpletons to sue everyone who exposed him? What is so different between his sutra, other monks’ sutras and that baleh kumpong kama sutra?

This monk is crazy! He was an abbot some more!

And rumor has it that he took about S$10,000 from Ren Ci a month for making a fool of Buddhism and Singapore! Revolting~ Why don’t people just pay Scope S$5000 a day just to be a botak?

Of course, it is just forgery now. What happens if this pet monk becomes more successful than Durai? Then CEO Ming Yi could go to heaven to see Buddha, making Buddha the Director of Ming Yi Enterprise~! OMG~ What a joke.

But in this sad joke, it is upsetting that Andy Lau is publicly now reported as being a closed friend to Ming Yi; and if Andy Lau starts any charity, this close association with Ming Yi, hence the joker Durai, will put Andy Lau in the ultimate wrong end of the gun and bad light. The coming CGPs have to hence exclude Mr Lau liaoz…

Where is your hair, Ming Yi? In the pants of Durai? What kind of monk are you? Yes, this guy still has supporters. Shocking. Do those supporters think Buddha will support this monk ey?

“Get out of my caring buddhist face…”

This is the Singaporean Venerable, worthy of reverence on account of his great aspiration of ‘How to be a CEO’. So Buddha sends him a worthy revenant, telling him: Kiss my ass.

Yeah right~ Go donate your hairs.

Buddha angry, OMG~

Don’t be a monk, grow some hairs, you can still be as successful a shameless CEO as TT. Anyway, I heard Durai has a wonderful ending while many patients died rotting because of kidney failures. Ming Yi, maybe Buddha will help you… Why not? You made S$2.6m for Buddha isn’t it?

Outstanding.

[Tony Leung and Carina Lau finally tie the knot. Scope congrats the couple and... it's sure a long march to wedding for them. This is for real, Tony. Next step: Project Baby. Anyway, Scope doesn't trust marriage, only love binds.]
[Scope, Your Blog Is Interesting.] Was walking to makan, then stopped by an auntie.

“Ha~ I read your blog!”

“Ya ya… Thanx!”

“You write very interesting one.”

“Ya ya… Thanx!”

Ya ya… thanks. Wonderful, Singapore auntie can appreciate such hilarious blog, and still can remember this old bo-liao face of the blogger. I feel so touch that I feel like pissing on Ming Yi’s botak-head… …

[Hardcore Is The Durian; Strip Them Is The Durian.] Why? Any problem with that? Geylang is Geylang.

Your dirty old brain is your dirty old brain.

Hellboy Z
[Here's the joke... that's between a demon and Scope. Without the horns, he is Hellboy, with the horns, he should be working in Geylang, talk 'bout being horny~ Why is Scope always the good guy? Anyway, too much evil in Singapore, not to mention, creative talents have better prospects elsewhere; Notice the halo? All I need is a pair of good wings...]

Mein Kampf SS: Geylang Vs Scope.

Then then then, I finally found my way to fucking Geylang. While we have local films on Geylang prostitutions (and I have not watched those films lah~), by the time I finally found my way there, it was just so shiok…

To my surprise, I missed the area the other night I attempted to locate it just by a street, and Geylang is like a unique bastard hiding in the modern city of Singapore. And much more surprising was that it was much more convenient to reach than I had expected it to be: It’s just next to Ajunid MRT station!?

It was a whole mess down there with plenty of chicks in sexy outfits, some pretty pretty, and it was like lawless down there… an apparent mockery to the Kallang Studium idling in the background that symbolizes healthy fun vs Geylang’s lively filthy entertainment.

And yes, I was disappointed when I learned that the Durian offer was like over oredi. So no show***.

[The Fucking Paradise Of Pleasure] The feel being amidst all those whores, gangsters and sad old men hugging those younger hookers was gainfully educational. Perhaps that’s the real aspect of Singapore’s society that I have been missing. It was such a mess and it was so interesting. Humans… always interest me. As I was watching an ah peh touching a smiling young girl all over her body, I was wondering what was on the mind of the girl. This was the real thing… And my ears could pick up very slight moans of girls probably due to intercourse in progress from certain quarters. The air was filled with a strange smell in the streets where drains were wet with foul stinks but drew crowds of girls of various skins, and a careful pair of eyes could even spot a condom with the white content still intact.

I have been to Zhuhai, but in comparison… Geylang is more ‘raw’.

One eye-popping sight was a hooker in her bra and underwear bathing herself outside of a terrence house while talking to an obvious pimp in all smiles. She would have passed for a cute schooling JC girl if we had met at the Orchard Road. Well…

The first girl who called out at me was a shy short hair in street wear. Being the first time wandering in this area, I was already playing the ‘guess who is hooking’… And it appeared that almost every girl waiting in the lorongs (Singlish: Something like refering to streets) for more than 10 mins had a price. I did what I did in Zhuhai, smiled and waved her off.

Actually, I was inclined to ask her for the rates. Curiousity pumped high.

The rates and situations in China were easy info. Before you even hit the streets, the wealthy suns-of-a-beach would have already ‘enticed’ you with the prospects of one night stands which were generally cheaper… and more beautiful than what you have in Geylang. Alright, I was even offered such goodies ‘foc’.

There were many more questions in my head coming as I took another step in Geylang…

[To Fuck Or Not To Fuck] I am very inclined to liken Geylang to the current entertainment industry… I couldn’t help but joking it out loud in my head that: This is the entertainment circles.

The sight of models pestering old rich producers, businessmen and government leaders on laps, in beds… was pretty much like what I saw all over the few lorongs in Geylang as the young fair skins kissed the old satisfied uncles, and negotiating with old folks at their big cars for opportunities… It’s just entertaining. This is the entertainment sector.

But it is not possible for a visionary to come out with Project S for these armies of hookers. I mean, fuck is fuck. What else? Honorable fucking for money? Clean prostitution role-models? High class intercourse experience for the aspiring whores?

I laughed, subtly at the momentary thought… though none really bothered as I passed another prostitute. You could admire their white boobs as they displayed their assets for you to bargain with. These were not those sexy ang mohs with fashionable tastes in low cuts at CBDs****

“You can touch, you can play, I’m always yours…” Remember the song ‘Barbie Girls’? if you have the cash, you can play the Barbies there all you want.

I enjoyed the sight. The hookers’ interactions with other hookers and their prospects stimulated the current, make you think… because this is so new. It almost suggested that many girls do enjoy the trade as they giggled among themselves at the tables while the uncles examined them all over. Perhaps some girls do enjoy money as much as sex.

Should Scope not make them happier?

All he needed to do was to approach one pretty chick, take her to the nearby Hotel 81, strip her, aim for the bottom, generate her moans, and pay the cash… Then what? Meaningless sexual experience, hence a waste of money, and do you really expect yourself to date a hooker? ‘Pretty Women’ is a good movie, and not rated ’mature’ as this blog post should not be. But… nobody should realistically expect cashing in on hookers’ sexual pleasure in return for love.

But women want money, shouldn’t a guy accept that as nature should be and make the women happier…? It’d be so much a happier world?! LOL~ far from being sarcastic, some guys would have told you: What? Get income to attract a girl to date or marry? No no no, better you go to Geylang. Straight, simple and cheaper.

The society at Geylang is pretty raw: Got money got girl, and you can play the girl left right down center. Yeah, you can do that till 80 years old, till you are too mature to cock up anymore instead of staring at your nagging ugly fat wife asking for your money to play silly majongs.

How to fight this option? No money no pretty girlfriends in Singapore is pretty standard norm. So if you have the money, why one pretty girlfriend when you can have an army of sexy chicks right there next to Ajunid MRT?!

Of course, virgins will cost more. But there are probably always fresh supplies for those who can afford.

Don’t come talking about love… Pragmatically speaking, who really cares about love in this cosmopolitan? Be realistic…

…and you should choose Geylang with your bounty.

Ahem… …

[Panties To Help Sprain Your Brain.] I hate to admit this, the whole Geylang sensually pointed one issue. Look at all those sad happy uncles hugging those sexy young girls. Geylang is a society basically where ‘romance’ needs no love, the cultural level is at the basic 0, the uncles are happy with them likely knowing that this is just a fake relationship, fake love, fake selves… They wanted to be loved, they held their girls’ arms, walked with them, spent time on them, talked to them, made them happy by offering gifts… These were all behaviors of a boyfriend to a girlfriend!

They were old…

They probably missed the loving-tender-sweet days, and they were using their last bits of retirement funds to buy what remaining possibility of the feel, even though they probably knew subconciously that it was all fake.

Pathetic Singaporeans… …

They were young once. They must have undergone the need for love, but… they preached of what wasn’t really love as it was for the Singaporean environment. They probably pursued money to live, pursued to compete and destroy competitions, and… now they are old. They suddenly realize that with all their wealth and big cars, they can only buy sex and this makes their cocks happier, until the girls help to remove their last bit of money… and they be back to their miserable selves again.

They probably had never awaken to the needs to pursue in their younger days of what they are vainly pursuing now. Why? You think that the young sluts you paid for a session of (fake) viagra and bedtime moanings will love you and make you young again?

Sad happy old uncles.

They probably think this is the right way of Singaporean life. Many were smart, but no matter how smart they were, how many sluts would love them in return for fucking them hard?

This is but human.

This was probably the breed who expect sexual relationship of successful Man to be based on quantity. Those who were laughing, I don’t know what they were laughing at. Were they happy because they were going to score soon with a hooker, happy to find themselves going to be a few hundreds bucks poorer, or what…?

Or maybe they did understand women better than Scope.

[The Rights Of Hooking] I did not take any photos as what this hero did at http://womanizing.blogspot.com/ as I have not prepared to have their faces appearing in my blog. I think I should, maybe.

I was wondering if it would affect the hookers’ normal lives by having their faces placed online; If their kids or their teachers or their neighbors or their parents or relatives would realise that they were hooking up men. You can say that I tried consciously to take care of their pride cum plight. No matter how prostitution is considered dirty in society, many girls are probably helpless. This conception may bring in more hits, but I am neither that particular about hits nor do I see any other needs to it.

Many of them would have been abused already by the cruel society, why should I join in this sick fun? I don’t really hate sluts. They are not the problem of morality, just as monogamy is no solution to morality; regardless of what, there are two kinds of sex… one, you fuck someone you love; two, you fuck someone for your own pleasure. As long as Man is born with the configurations to the design of Mother Nature, this is always a fucking world to the females.

The only difference is of course, love. Nothing else.

And don’t make that too complicated. It’s never that complicated in this gender business. Many of these old uncles in Geylang would have their grumbly wives at home. These wives would have sex for decades with their monogamy husbands, in the end of it all… the uncles still sought the pleasure of hookers, the wives in their younger days have made the decisions on their perception of love in their lifetime investment on their monogamies. You can’t blame either sides for the sad stories.

But then, just because a wife’s husband doesn’t visit brothels doesn’t mean the wife is fucking for the right choice all those years; she might be at most as good as the whores who have no business for the day. Direct to the point: Their husbands have not encountered their competitions yet, or the husbands just don’t have the money.

This phase ‘make love’ is not just a mere substitute for the words ’sex’ and ‘fuck’. And often, it decides not only whether the husbands are the right choices, but also determines whether the wives themselves are any better than the prostitutes. This probably explains the high divorce rate in Singapore, again… the 100% educated compact society.

Girls, you can’t cheat love, you only cheat yourselves.

Do enjoy the illusion of love till you are old, nevertheless. Of the billions of dicks swinging out there, how many men are truly capable of love? Sad but true, most men leave thinking to their dicks while their heads are filled with gold. This is especially true when it is a pile of cultural desert to begin with. And most girls are no lesser irrational leaving the thinking to the men, when the men leave the thinking to the dicks.

But of course, divorce is also as simple a business as the next uncle having a good time with some chicken… Thrilling.

[Geylang: Actually An Entertainment Industry] It’s impossible to be hypocitic in expressing care for the whores in Geylang when it’s about the same necessity in being understanding towards the current mess in the entertainment industry. Basically, the game is about the same: Entertainment–> Fucking around for the opportunities to survive.

Just as Ms Zhao (赵雅芝) recently revealed, she got fouth in a beauty contest by refusing to prostitute herself. Commendable, but what if competition was as steep as now, and the girl was bending on victory, or to survive?

There wasn’t Project S back then. And even if there was, it’d be probably under heavy fire since who would want the tickets straight into the pants of beauties to be burnt by a small visionary Project S?

After Jack Neo made the million dollars alarm with ‘Money Not Enough’, it was not only making Singapore realising that there is a huge potential in cultural industry that has subsequently encouraged many more film producing efforts, but also drew in a couple of Hong Kong acting people to the then silly ‘Liang Po Po’. Industry ‘workers’ they are… A multi-billions dollars cake is still a million dollars pie with all the rushing in of workers for the gold.

But unlike China which has been enjoying huge influx of liquidity during that rushing era until native Chinese tycoons are now reluctant to invest proper in this rotten cake, as illustrated by Stephen Chow’s scene in ‘Gong Fu’, whereby the Shark Clan boss exclaimed as he walked out of the police station, “…I’d not want to invest in movie making…”.

Reality is, many good actors and actresses won’t survive with acting alone unless they regularly receive acting contracts; income from drama companies are pretty little, and the bulk of income actually comes from doing advertising for companies, which is a frequent point of hostile competition the likes between Xiaxue and Dawn recently. For actors or actresses with agencies, most of such agencies are mere blood suckers drawing a standard of about 8~10% on average and higher, the only laws they probably know are laws of fighting to make more money.

The whole eco-system in this industry that aspiring players in Singapore would have to come to realise eventually is it is very much like how Geylang operates. The pimps protect their star hookers for more commissions, while the hookers themselves are fighting to be fucked for more opportunities to survive the competition. The faster hooker who got enough money can end up ‘controlling’ the market in a way and employ a system of pimps and hookers.

Naturally, pimps among the acting people exist, hence. The only major difference is the transactions are much larger.

Which is also why Scope is reluctant to seek fundings from the rich females… to avoid misunderstandings… Even not a star by vocation, there had been previous interests in Scope from some. Regretably, Scope is not a gigolo.

Hence, for those who envisioned themselves to be a shining star hoping to excel with their qualities… well, dream on. Competition is super stiff. And if you are a star just rising, you’d want a befitting home, a nice car, an assistant and all those cost. And sadly, the acting people may be many, but the drama series to get yourself involved are not, especially the good productions. Talented people are getting squeezed out in this rot*****.

It’s just like in Geylang, how many ‘talented’ girls can differentiate themselves by asking for a hefty $10,000 a fuck?

Now even if you can command that $10,000 like you have 10,000 hits a day, even if you don’t get old, those who can afford this will get tired and need fresh excitment. So the one last few of defences will be attempting to eliminate competition by resorting to catfights, smearing and destroying another, or people form a gang. But gang nowadays seldom lasts as culture levels decline and interests reign in extreme fashion. It’s always money and sex.

In Chinese:

Nobody shares, there is never enough: This is blind greed. And nobody cares if the cake is getting rotten alongside… and rotting cake won’t worth much. Which is the same as Geylang, the indiscriminating rush in of hookers merely helped to push down prices alongside with quality. So the entire Geylang stinks; and people got indifferent between Geylang and Batam.

I personally felt sorry for them, and for myself. The more active is Geylang as compared to Orchard Road, the more worrying is the era we are in. While the spirit of finding men with the income is just womanly, but most women would probably prefer one sex partner in a more dignified manner than enjoying taking in tons of sausages, love aside.

Besides, the more women jumping into the sex trade means lesser women for decent romance.

I don’t really look down on the hookers. Some might even be higher educated than Scope, and there were heroines among hookers historically. Saying that I understand these prostitutes and this segment of the entertainment industry in one go is just nosensical, and it just added doses of curiousity on the happenings after this tour at Geylang.

Deprived of love, hence the fulfillment in relationship, in this society, there are many lonely hearts, nagging wives, stressed up office whores, and Geylang could be the one industry going to shine in the coming imported economic disaster.

Maybe it was the sense of reality that I got at Geylang, amidst the passing whores and pimps… that was thrilling. Ugly people making up a beautiful tomorrow, and as the sun sets, Geylang’s economy is just starting the day.

Ugly and beautiful, it’s so strange trying to define which is which.

*All states enjoy sovereignty, or in layman: State’s rights. Whenever anyone or state or organisation attacks a state, one can understand it in such a manner that it’s ‘war declaration’ in a varied nature. State intervention is basically disallowed under UN charters, by right. And states do enjoy special privileges, including copyrights. So you can question a state, but you do not openly challenge a state (by challenging its leaders for a duel or what).

**I was reading this case, and I almost roared in laughter. It seems that Dawn’s side is claiming on the ‘deleted’ postings in Xiaxue’s blog with Dawn’s deleted acceptance in her own blog to Xiaxue’s apology. I don’t know who are the lawyers in this case, but I am sure the judge could be laughing as well if the court were to take this case. Nosensical… It would have been a direct embarassment to the current PM. Meow meow…

***Actually, the truth about these $0.10 durians is that those durians are super tiny in comparison to the Sultan Durian I tried that evening at S$12. That was according to the stall owner I bought the Sultan durian from. So it was probably a waste of time going to Geylang for the durians when Bugis was selling about the same thing.

****A simple research online shows plenty of pretty faces and bodies ready for gorgeous display, and I was like… OMG, why has heaven created such beautiful creatures for fucking when they could be part of Project S. The tour to Geylang actually was not complete, and curiousity about the psychology in this social conversion in a rigid state as Singapore is pretty high. But this part is only possible if I book some hours to spend time with the hookers and communicate.

*****It’s a very simple happening. The flowers which are beautiful rot as no water is given, and those weeds offering sex got all the juice. Eventually, the whole garden is covered with weeds. It is actually a governmental issue because only the governments can do something about it. It happens in almost all industries under lax governance that only encourages escalated infestation of such ‘progress’.

[In a way, the wind of Three Kingdoms is still blowing strong. So with respect to John Vs Jean... So here combine two issues into one CGP. When you love someone, love story is when you love the princess you offer your life to brave dragons and bla bla bla; nowadays, your lawyers are expected to pester the court to claim what you offered back from the princess. Singaporean love story... Yeah yeah~ Top: Andy Lau; Bottom: Scope.]
Honestly, at first Scope does not feel like blogging about Jean and John (Read Jean.sg). The reason is pretty simple, this incident exposes the ugliness of this 100% educated population gone online. And our KPO newspapers obviously don’t know how to handle this issue.

They should have reported after John and Jean have worked things out.

Before the rant goes into the main story of searching for the crew for [Project S], the blogging has to go to Jean’s story. Why? Cyber bullies. I personally have little love for those cyberbullies, and if they think they are anonymous and they can shoot at a poor crying girl and enjoying misery out of others, they are quite wrong. If Jean does make a police report, those folks can still be dug out.

Well, actually cyberbullies also exist in China’s online environment, but there are way too few and… flooded by more sensible voices. And those in the circles mostly just ignore them or take them like idiots. (Meaning: The bigger the forest, the higher possibility of creeps/pests.)

The updates on Jean’s story is that John is filing defamation against Jean. Bad move for John, however. I expect Jean to counter-sue. And she should.

The whole story actually was fuelled by the new ‘fact’ of a S$48,000 loan from John to Jean.

In China, this is nothing; people would just come out and talked out the issue. In Singapore, a simple thing like this needs lawyers. But lawyers are only lawyers. This is probably the first blog case between two individuals outside corporate business to fight in court; which is a big embarassment to ministerial efforts in promoting blogging. If the court takes the case, it will be a big slap to the current PM. This slap might be big, but it is based on such a silly quarrel.

Ironical..

[Is S$48,000 a big deal?] Actually, Jean’s complain and John’s involvement in this case is about what? It’s officially a (one-sided) love affair. Although Jean and John are no family, but the nature of this case is based on… sentiments. Singapore courts, known to be highly professional, may now take such a case which is personal and based on a point which is on the foundation of sentiments…?

Which is why Scope is amused.

This pair is taking their sour love story for the court’s list of legal statements to make a fair judgement. How can it be not amusing? This is ridiculous~ What do they take the court for?

The case here is not about John’s ‘un-contracted’ loan of S$48,000 to Jean. The case is John molested Jean and John said she defames him. And the cyberspace went emotional when this five figures sum entered the scene. And the biggest error Jean made is to have her lawyer claimed that was a gift. If that was a gift, any judge would like to know what is the basis of the gift. A gift can be a bribe or for sentimental reasons. If the gift is for the latter purpose, S$48,000 is really too much to be assumed on Jean’s part.

So far, from Scope’s perception of this case… At most one can presume that Jean exploited John’s lust after her for monetary gains, or more relevantly, for the assistance of the moment. But this is nothing legally wrong, because if John really likes Jean, by common sense alone that even if John knew Jean needed the money hence she showed positive attitude to him only because of that, it was likely that John might still offer the money, perhaps in the hope that Jean would take that as a credit. Not to mention, John actually was after Jean for years.

Can we blame Jean?

Now if you are stucked in the rubbles in Sichuan because of the earthquake, someone offered $48,000 to rescue you and hope you will love him in return, or even expect you to offer your body… will you reject? Is it your fault if you fail to love him or offer your body? Anyway, any contract that has such exchange of body for money is considered void.

So why the commotion over the $48,000? $48,000 is obviously not a payment for trade of any kind. It was at most a personal loan that is not legally binding.

[Does John really love Jean?] For many years, John claimed he wanted Jean to be girlfriend. John offered $48,000 to help Jean. Now, since Jean is no prostitute, and given the average street’s rate of average higher class prostitutes of $180 for ‘intimate actions’, Jean is not obliged to service John’s sausage for 266 times.

The issue is this, Jean is a girl. She has a choice of whom she shall hang out with. John is a guy, he has a choice of how to impress Jean. Now John chose to offer cash hoping to impress Jean, if Jean responded in acceptance and entertained John’s sausage, what would happen if one fine day John decided to pursue to reclaim the loan…? Can it not happen?

It can.

Because since John returned from Korea, a lawyer was sent to Jean to reclaim the $48,000. Equally that John cannot enter an immoral contract with Jean when he offered the money, John can want the money back with his sausage entertained or otherwise.

Since both acknowledged that Jean has never officially been even a mistress of John, John should not have touched Jean. And Jean responded negatively upon being touched was but natural. And John should apologise, by right.

Does John really love Jean? Does John know that love cannot be bought? Does John know what is love? If he doesn’t know love, how can John love Jean? How can you love someone and threaten the other by sending a lawyer? So Scope sees this case as simply as this: John upon failing to ‘conquer’ Jean thought he could silent her by reminding her she still owes him $48,000 in cash.

That’s just a guess. But it is not baseless.

Scope knows of guys who are like this… They see money spent in relationships as investment: The prettier the girl, the more the investment. Which is the more you want to fuck the girl, the more money is worth the spending. And upon fucking the girl returns little satisfaction, investment in breaking up and on another target would be made.

To me, this is a very… abnormal way of approach to relationship, especially if it were to be in China. But this does happen in Singapore. Is Jean wrong to react so strongly?

Perhaps not.

She might be well the victimized.

Benefit of a doubt can be given to John if John has not sent lawyer to claim from Jean, someone whom he claimed to like so much. But it is very obvious now to me that John has probably seen this money as an investment for his sausage.

Scope has spent more money on one girl. Honestly, when I spent on a girl or to help her in monetary terms, I do not expect to claim any cent back by using lawyers. This is not stupidity, this is just honoring the relationship. It is highly ungentlemanly in BGR that after one discovers that it is a waste of money, you turn hostile. Literally, Scope cannot accept this as Love, or an act to it.

[Guys' needs: The Body of a Girl.] Yes. All normal guys have libido or, needs. And biologically speaking, a guy may experience over a hundred times of erection per day, with the sight or not of any girls. I read the ‘leading John on‘ argument and… frankly put, I myself have also hoped to go to Hong Kong under discounted fare rate, but that needs a pair to enjoy the discount. I used to ask even the tour agency if they can find another 1 guy and 2 girls for the purpose, since you could share a room with another guy and the two girls could share the other room. The point is, if Jean had John around, asking John along was possibly an innocent request since John would probably be the one most likely to agree with the idea.

In Singapore, even if you are married, your wife can still sue you for rape. So what about sharing a bed or a room?

In China, there is a category of train service called 软卧 (in English: Soft Resting, meaning you can have cabin of 4 beds instead of squeezing with others sitting on benches). In such a cabin, you can encounter sexy girls with friendly smiles. Or you may even travel with an attractive colleague or school friend who helps you to get the hard-to-get ticket for such cabins.

Now sharing that cabin with a girl who bought you the ticket doesn’t mean anything. So how can Jean be leading John on, that after the last night of the few days’ stay, that we assume Jean successfully led John to deploy his sausage? The point is very simple. In chinese: 女追男隔层纱, which means that if Jean really wanted John to touch her in bed, she could have easily done so in the nights before… perhaps simply by moaning or dressing up in sexy fashion. And usually, it starts from the lips, not the sausage.

Actually, if Jean really wanted to seduce John, she didn’t need to do so in Korea. So after two years with Jean, how can we expect John to be led on by Jean, as if John doesn’t know Jean all these years?

And of course, how can Scope buy the argument that John has needs? Scope is a guy. Scope also has needs. But… when you really like a girl, you usually want to pamper her, and protect her. Maybe love is selfish… But I doubt any girl would want my sausage if I claim to love her, and that… I have needs.

This is not stupid. This is how relationship should be, isn’t it?

Sex should be something happy, and enjoyable.

Love… is about how you feel in your heart. You do not even need sex. You do not even need the other party to know your existence. Much less to send a lawyer to someone you claim to like… and will that make the girl happier?

I had sent an old fashioned pendant when I met Lih… I had sent a bottle of self-made stars when I met Kate… I had sent many many gifts when I met Cathy… I had sent Hilliary to a romantic dinner when I met her, and so on. However the stories end, it is just a show of respect for oneself towards his attitude to relationship. Scope doesn’t think it is that right one should send a lawyer…

Why? Can’t people handle relationship… and rejections?

I must make it very clear that when a guy sent something, as in my instance, I doubt the ladies will necessarily take the guy seriously, or even remember. And there is no need to feel bad about it, hence to be hostile.

[Love in this cultural desert] Regardless of how Scope sees this case, I am not saying Jean is totally right, because if she even is guilty of exploiting John for returns or… she was just another unserious lass in relationship, only she will know. And this is not something legally relevant nor a judge can tikam at (Singlish: Deciding by tossing coins…). But it is very obvious why Scope shall spend time blogging on Jean and John’s story.

I really hate the way the people think in Singapore… reading insults only indicates how hopeless is Singapore as a society. No matter how people suspect Jean to be retailiating because of John’s S$48,000 claim, when a girl got molested or claimed to be molested, or cry or even pretend to cry, why should we make nasty insults?

When Scope was in secondary school, a girl from next class fell with the books scattered around, and the whole class of guys laughed and laughed and laughed. The teacher was unhappy and lectured the class that we should be helping her up instead of laughing. Scope did want to help her though I did not know who she was, but I was quite shy to do so.

Under such fine education, these insults or… flaming should be normal. But if you observe people outside Singapore, or just go to: http://scopettg.blog.sohu.com

Under the 100 over postings there, how many comments are so…下流(poor taste)? Is it a necessity or global trend for such ill-taste response? Of course not.

Now, if I were to have kids, where would you expect myself to want them to be nurtured? In Singapore or outside Singapore? If I were to want my kids to be better persons, I myself have to hence settle myself outside Singapore. Do I have a choice? What can we do about it?

Love is not only between a grown up male ready to fuck a female, but it is also between men and women in society and within a family.

Just as John is preparing a legal war against Jean for defamation, isn’t John already telling the world… that he really did not mean to love Jean in the first place. Jean may be in the wrong if she really intends to keep the money, but if you love a person, no person is ever perfect; There will always be flaws. Well, I got a feeling that this John first think with his sausage, then think with his brain…

What about the heart?

Now who in Singapore really cares?

A man can love many women. It is different from that a man can have many women. A man can have a thousand women, but none he loves. A woman can have a man, but not necessarily she would experience love for her lifetime.

It’s about the same that you have a loving tender sweet polygamy in feudal China or being a muslim, or a monogamy that a woman be raped everyday by her husband who has no love for her.

The insults are not the monopoly of Jean. EDMW has people now calling Scope a ‘Karanguni man’ (Singlish: rubbish collector), read http://edmw.sg/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=53660.

Well, unlike Jean, most of us can’t be bothered unless they go way overboard. We are all more or less seasoned for publicity, although Scope’s vocation is not a star– take note. But in this society, unless you do not step out of your house, there will always be a variety of perceptions and remarks for you. There will always be the nice people, there will always be the jokers.

And of course, if you blog, you don’t expect to make the world happy. If you can make the world happy, I suppose any political party will need you. But which government in this world has ever made everyone happy? How can you expect to make anyone happy in your online diary? You make John happy, Jean will be sad. You take the sausage from Jean and make her happy, John may be unhappy.

[So in conclusion...] Scope personally thinks this is a ridiculous case… and this is Singapore, and here comes the judge at John’s request if the court takes the case…

Do you need a counsellor or a judge?

Why are they wasting court resources on a sour BGR in Singapore, prided for its judicial professionalism. You do not need a monkey to tell that this is just matters of sentiments between two individuals.

Scope can’t analyse such case as in John Vs Jean; obviously, it holds little justice to decide who is right and who is wrong via legal channel. Even if John or Jean lies, it is not like so simple as companies putting up misleading ads for a fair judgement.  So what Jean promised the moon, can the judge say Jean’s verbal contract is a pack of lies? So what John said sweet nothings, can the judge sentence John for public nuisance?

Alamak~

Besides, rationally speaking… if a woman shouts ‘Molest! Molest! in the street, is this defamation if it ends up that it is just a misunderstanding?  Not to say, Jean is shouting ‘Molest! Molest!’ in her personal blog…

Funny…

Anyway, if I can choose the girl I shall have, I’d want Kirishima Hikaruko. OMG, she is just dream comes true. That’s real love.

Which is why I am hooked on ‘Love With Superstar’. So touching~

[This is about ‘食道’. It is up to people to define this as digestive system of animals or the beauty of mankind in taking. Anyway, Scope loves to eat. This above is just Scope walking around in bo-chap fashion and taking his meal in a hotel; he loves it serene. Project S is probably about serenity amidst the chaos.]

Project S: You’d Need A Bunch Of Jokers For A Good Joke.

After wasting so much sliva on a wacky story, the ranting goes to finding the components for Project S. Doing such things in China is way easier than Singapore:
1. Pretty faces with elegance are aplenty;
2. They are generally more hungry for opportunities;
3. They don’t ask for the skies…

The toughest part is getting the female since Scope is… but a guy. And if [Project S] must avoid the main entertainment circles, the initial efforts must be Scope lah… Who else? Once the female components are in place, getting guys onboard will be sup sup swey (Singlish: Easy.) lah~

No no no, I am not expecting necessary success in searching in Singapore. As an experienced salesperson with usual top three sales ranking… This effort is a learning process for a ‘new product’, and there is currently evolution in the approach. Every time Scope returned home, he would ponder…

This is probably because before I even knew how to sell, my first sales assignment was a crushing $0. Besides, the current ‘market’ has been smeared with misleading ads and horrendous schemes of ‘modeling’… The last thing about getting pretty girls into Project S would be ‘easy’.

So Scope basically goes for the toughest: Getting the female components.

Actually, there is one significant difference between China and Singapore in this effort and it is this:

Cultural projects in China are just so much more common than in Singapore.

So… ahem… … Before we go further, here is something funny.  In http://scopettg.wordpress.com/2008/04/27/261/ there was a traffic police encounter for this ‘offence’ of 29 Apr 2008 at 0925AM. Here comes another letter issued dated 12 Jun 2008, received by myself today, 22 Jun 2008, demanding us to reply in 19 Jun 2008 when I have already paid the the fine of $130 using SAM at Singapore Post on 31/05/2008 13:55:49… I even kept the receipt!

This time from the Land Transport Authority, date of offence: 29 Apr 2008 at 0926AM. Wow!What is wrong with Singapore? The funny thing about this is that I have paid $130 and lost 4 demerit points by 31/05/2008 and LTA is sending this letter dated 12 Jun 2008 making demands on the same issue with a min interval from the Deputy Director, Investigations, LTA!

It was only on 11 Jun 2008 that J had made apology for the officer.

Can anyone explain to me what is going on?

Yeah, many weird things happen in Singapore and under broad daylight, and often nobody really cares. I just don’t see how anyone can expect Scope to trust Singaporeans. Such an obvious blunder should not have happened, isn’t it? I half suspected that the offending officer at TP got offended when I brought up the matter and Veron bit it, and he submitted a fresh report on the same case to LTA for a get back placing the timing a min more. That’s quite a romantic thought.

I must admit, it is kind of paranoid.

But who in Singapore should not be paranoid?

Which is probably why I can’t really blame the girls I have approached recently for Project S for being paranoid. To be fair, I am paranoid about them as well… that if they even will take a look at Project S and how it could change their boring lives.

[There are many paths to Rome.] While many girls dream about stardom and such and the bla bla bla… Actually in 1000 girls who have that vanity in them, less than 100 may even want to do something about that vanity, and in that lesser than 100 girls, less than 20% will be suitable, and in that less than 20% the success rate may be only about 10%. What is special in Singapore is that since cultural development is infamously low, herd instinct naturally takes over, especially for typical social animals in girls. So unless they have any sense of security plus any basic understanding and appreciation for arts, their stardom dreams remain probably forever as dreams.

Of course, if you can fork out a chest of gold for them, recruitment will be easier. But that defeats the purpose of Project S and… it is really not possible for starting this small to promise heavens and earths or even pinnacles which are all packs of lies; and there is literally no need to. Because what Project S needs to float long enough to eventual commercial success is quality.

By quality, it means a crew with ambition and will prepare to spend a period of time to try and become Project S. This will be preferably people with passion, hence see the possibilities beyond the current constraints. This is necessary because when the drama series are produced and they are exposed to the public, what will not get them lost is their own passion and mentality which got them started with Project S.

After all, publicity between a salesperson and an actor is not really the same. Love and hate apply and magnify in the latter’s case. Nobody will be expected to scream “Salesman X, we will always love you!” than “SHE, we will always love you!”.

Going through Project S is just one way to get into performing arts… or stardom. Don’t be surprised with the possibility. Xiaxue got publicity for her funny blog, the poly (Meaning: A school-type’s shorthand) student got infamous for her sex show produced using a handphone… Now if this sex video made using a handphone can be reproduced on CDs by Malaysians for sales, it only shows one thing… Project S is possible in solid fashion.

Basically, we have already settled the equipment, we welcome any additional funding but we don’t really need to seek for more external funding, and the distribution channels are prepared. All we need is the acting crew.

[Hi! Are you interested to be involved in a Drama team?] Up till now, how girls actually got refered to this site have a few common similarities.

They are mostly, if not all, shop keepers or some sales people. The reason is very simple. The search just starts, experience for this task is just building. Shop keepers and sales people are usually more unlikely to show ‘distaste’ to a guy’s approach. If you send them the note, even if they do not care even to check things out, you still gain since they won’t reject you directly most of the time and you can get a feel and feedback of possibly how they take the approach.

In my years of sales and marketing, I have realised that people are not suckers for the best bargains in a choice of products presented to them. This is not the same in China where many people will mostly buy only when necessary and think and question on the products before they make a choice. So there is a need to observe the girls in Singapore’s attitude towards a possible opportunity, because girls have mental defence, and the last thing Project S intends is to be pushy. So everyone of them are presented with a starting line, and within that 30s, they have to decide for themselves with someone who looks chin chin chai chai (Singlish: anyohow). Unfair? No. Only those who dare explore will get the cheese. I am not there to push any of them to be into the set. The right girl with the right mindset will listen carefully, and ask relevant questions.

99% of them will talk to me, the customer. This is a reflection of themselves towards opportunites. Every customer is an opportunity in itself. The girl who would talk to me even if she thinks that I look lecherous in the fortress of her shop is much better than a petty and timid character… If you are petty and timid and judgemental, why are you in sales? There is no potential in handling publicity, then it’d be waste of time no matter how pretty one is. It is just like in sales, if you cannot face publicity in indiscriminating fashion, you’d probably only wait for sales to come to you. What is the point?

99% are presenting themselves simply. It’s quite true that many bimbos are sexy and attractive but… girls for one-night-stands and girls for the acting path are not the same. Besides, all those messy eye-shadows and fake eye-brows plus a mask of colors blur attention to one’s natural facial assets. And Project S prefers more mature girls. Sexy is cool, but we don’t intend to deal with porns so… And if girls wear accessories more expensive than what middle-class normally can afford, Scope usually avoids. Well, getting the rich girls in may help bring more fundings, but it’d also mean bringing in a snobbish crisis of vanity. Why is there Project S in the first place? Because the snobs are killing the industry, their mistresses are burning the industry, the fucking has to stop somehow. There is no way we can last if we were to build Project S on a pile of gold, or with people whose dreams are solely loaded with gold. Simple is the keyword.

[The Encounters.] It is very tiring to do talent search, and ever since the big drama groups in Hong Kong went bust and Mediacorpse got established, talent searching on the streets is not as common since the corporates now subject talent search to corporatism, many are also done in KTVs instead… you know, with the naked girls bla bla bla.

I got very interesting feedback along the way. But there were some girls with a vast amount of elegance locked within themselves I have come across. There was this girl doing insurance with AIA, she was good. Simple and elegant on the front, an all-rounder suitable for many roles and play-types. And she got a good voice, too. But I got a feeling she might be way more interested in insurance money than the curiousity in being part of Project S. I may be wrong, of course.

There is another one at Orchard doing cosmetic. Simple and elegant, as well. But she was rather negative in the 30s. Too bad. Though we’d really neeed someone like her around.

There was one at a jewellery shop, I talked to her about buying diamonds and observed her response… than I saw the super diamond ring on her finger… and she was out. There is a reason for this. I knew of many women who were materalistic and took pride in their rich boy-boys, got fucked and dumped and went to other rich boy-boys. They loved to show off their huge diamonds, peers who were DJs, managers or whatever, who-cares and… such girls in the set is just too troublesome, and poses a threat to unity.

So I have decided to avoid Jewellery shops for the time.

The happier response came from a girl from China. Though I am not surprised, China people are more welcoming to opportunities. She asked questions and I was able to get a listening ear for the Project. Well, is this a con job? Well… This is the only silly question she had for that evening for me. Project S may not be established in Singapore if suitable people are not available, hence it shall go to Indonesia or China, or as a friend suggested, a place in Europe… but I doubt Project S is not a sincere effort, and for that matter, Scope had aching legs for walking around Singapore when he could just sit down and talk cock in forums at home.

There was another China girl, her quick reaction was amusing: What is the use of going to the address given to her? Waliaoz~ So fucking practical. LOL~ I was like wanting to reply like this: When I was calefare-ing at Mediacorpse dog years back, I was not sure of what use. When many were trying to get a role by licking, I was there observing the hows and whys of the production, but of what use? When I called it a day as a calefare, never had I thought that many years later, I would get in touch with a much more bigger and competitive entertainment environment and got involved behind the scenes. And never have I expected to want to start Project S back in those years.

Actually, the truth is… when I was at mediacorpse’s set, I already had this in mind: Oh boyz~ It sucks, we should and could do something better!

But I have never thought that Project S possible back then because other than the years of skills and experience playing at Mediacorpse’s set and nosing around, the real part of operating a media entity was not expected to be gained, plus I was not prepared for the idea that the advance in technology could have eliminated the barriers of obscene amount of resources to be invested in equipment alone. Yeah right, Scope is highly creative or out-of-the-box type, but that alone is useless if technology and encounters have not come by fatefully.

Rather than to say that Scope was lucky to get the subsequent exposures by having his blog in Sohu, it was more credited for the fact that Scope is inclined to explore for opportunities unlike many rigid Singaporeans. You see, it irks my father but it opens the door to the possibility of Project S. Project S can grow to be huge… and eventually be the industry standard. But… Singapore is small, and its thinking is really small. So here is the difficulty. And the encounters in Singapore are not helping at all.

So this girl’s reaction earned my laugh. Life is like a box of chocolates… Had not Forest Bum said that?

Girls… …

Which is why if Project S can get the girls in place, the guys and the others won’t be a problem. In Singapore Plaza, there was this guy who wanted to get involved. I looked at him… Mediacorpse will probably never even look at him. But while he is not a hunk, I personally see hope for him. But his and my opportunity in Singapore are depending on the female components. And I least can expect support from Singapore itself.

If there are no more funny troubles, it’s amitaba already, what else can I expect.

Anyway, the people who are refered here are subjected to a ‘cultural test’ as well. As anyone who has eyes to see, the cultural level shown in the China blog’s comments and this blog’s illustrate a simple and glaring difference, which is why Scope takes the trouble to talk cock on the story of Jean and John. Even using Scope’s blog itself to illustrate is already quite enough. Scan through the tons of comments in Sohu, and make a comparison to those comments you got at WordPress, say for Jean, and even for myself from EDMW (http://edmw.sg/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=53660).

There is only one word for this ‘phenomenon’: Sick.

It is obvious which got it sick.

When the people are learning how to catch up with Scope in China, those in Singapore are laughing away like idiots. How can Singapore compete in the long run? Beats me. This is the basic problem of Singapore’s society, and it becomes also a problem for Project S and Scope.

Actually even my cousin doesn’t know how to appreciate, telling his baby children it’s nothing big deal with the CGPs, so it’s not surprising why many talents left Singapore for good. Cultural sector actually worths many many billions, and moves the economies in by-products as well out there, creates tons of jobs and it even promotes tourism with few issues to pollution, and the cost is usually meagre. How much cost cum pollution do you think ‘Dragon Balls’ need? How much cost was that to produce one ‘DaiChangKin’ and promoted Korea along the way?

But in Singapore, Creative talents are not much valued, the environment is not right. Focused on gold blinds one to the appreciation of the ridiculously huge potential of cultural sector. Which is why Mediacorpse stays as a corpse after all these years. Pardon me for being honest to myself.

There is one word to describe this: Short-sightedness.

How far can aspiring talents go in such short-ness?

[It's not about just Project S.] It is the same thing put to the people who got the asking, are you the type who would stay in a box, dream big, as big as the box, and rot in the box alongside with your rotting dreams?

My task is pretty simple. I shan’t push anyone out of their boxes, I won’t lure as well even if I have the carrots, I just offer a link. These is no money offered for joining, and no money obliged to be paid for joining. It is just like a CCA in schools. You can choose to sleep or stare at the celling or talk cock with your friends or lament the whole day that life is boring… or you can be part of Project S, be part of many stories, be anything, and be around with fellow jokers full of passion for the joke.

Well, a good joke will need excellent jokers. Then we can have the last laugh.

No pressure. Scope is prepared to move Project S anywhere in the world where the soil is fertile and the climate is conducive.
